Who Am I?

I am under 45 years old,
I love the outdoors,
I hunt,
I am a Republican reformer,
I have taken on the Republican Party establishment,
I have many children,
I have a spot on the national ticket as vice president with less than two years in the governor’s office.

here’s one from billbrown:

"I secured a place on a presidential ticket after a short tenure as a governor.

I was on a ticket with a well known Senator.

I was criticized for having no foreign policy experience.

I was ridiculed for being from a tiny town.

I was an evangelical Christian.

I was a basketball star in High School.

I first gained fame in my state by taking on a corrupt politician

Who am I?"

Noted for his leftist stance with workers.

But hey, don’t let facts get in the way, you never have . . .

Impenitent: Teddy Roosevelt in 1900.

Another pretend issue. Another day and age when it didn’t matter. They had losers like Calvin Coolidge and Millard Fillmore
as president too. It wasn’t the critical position it is today. Would you want Millard Fillmore as president? I didn’t think so.
And it matter even less about the VP. When it was said the position was worth a bucket of spit, they meant it. It was a job
to give to nothings. And Roosevelt got the VP gig because the job was a nothing job and it keep him out of trouble.
Got him out of people’s hair, which was the point of his getting the job. Get him out of New York. Geez, learn some history.

Kropotkin

So he was president in 6 months, he was re-elected for the next term, and he was carved on Mt. Rushmore with Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln.

(Hmmmm, I wonder if there’s space left. )

The thing I love is that Teddy’s New Nationalism is precisely the sort of thing Imp rails against. But, hey, don’t let the truth get in his way . . .
