Isn’t it ironic that a nation like the United States supposedly the bastion of democracy and politicized freedom is the same very nation making war on the world at large?
The same nation that bailed out the oligarchy class at great expense of the population at large and indeed the world. The same nation that threatens to collapses the international economic systems. Ironic, no?
Yet here we are led to believe that the United States is this great bastion of democracy and freedom.
When the United States collapses just becoming another extincted empire no longer again will future nations or empires be able to go around with the pretense of being a bastion of democracy and freedom portraying themselves as having the exceptional moral high ground to police others because in future collective memory people will remember the historical humiliating shame of what once was the United States.
This is the era where exceptionalism and the ideology of democracy comes to die.
Democracy and freedom are hollow masks. North Korean leaders knew how to make themselves look really good and make everyone else look really bad. I’m talking about the socialist despots. Or you could just call them despots, because socialism and capitalism can both potentially be controlled. I’m really surprised the USA is even alive. It’s rotten to the core. And then some. Adolf tried to fight fire with fire. He lied, but the opposition was lieing too, trying to undermine things. That is part of how empires work. Image. The president and his media and crap, they try to make a certain kind of image. I’m probably allowed to post about north korea, so let’s go with that. They put military first, and suck up everything for “Defense”. The USA is doing the exact same thing. Giving way too much money to military and defense crap, to the point where the economy starts to die. They are not as poor as north koreans, but if this keeps up, maybe some day they will be. USA is a despot state because its military and defense agencies control it. To a lesser extent the corporations also control it. These two fat cats want to drain the whole world dry.
Actually the reality is that the United States is a bankrupted nation. We just keep on printing money trying to manage our public relations image and hope that the rest of the world doesn’t take notice. The joke is on us of course because the world is starting to notice.
Actually we’re not. We are a collapsing empire that is dying where we are trying to print ourselves to normalcy.
I read a piece by a renowned Austrian economist a year ago who has said the United States economy won’t survive past 2022. Still there are others who say a cataclysmic event will take place at the end of 2014 or the beginning of 2015 for the United States economy.
I’m just waiting patiently to see the end results myself. All in all we have roughly six to eight years to find out or maybe even much less.
I truly am thankful to be born into this generation and eventually having the extreme pleasure of enacting my personal vendetta against the world when the big curtain comes crashing down. I’m just waiting patiently and biding my time. Same thing I’ve been doing the last eight years. What’s another eight more years to me? I can wait. The reward for me will be great.
What’s that old saying I use to say here all the time under my old moniker? Ah, yes, I’ll have the last laugh on the way out.
Normally I consider vendettas futile/impossible. I would like revenge and justice and things, in my own exact way, but it’s futile because nature will always produce the same fruit. In nature, you can cut off the branches, but you can’t touch the root. You can’t destroy all humans, or fix and help all humans. Nature is in control, instead of your will and self. It is a battle between will and the world. The world will win if you over extend yourself.
It is probably premature to assume the demise of the USA. No other nation in history has had the tools and power with which to combat its own excesses.
I think it is a fatal mistake to underestimate capitalism. Yes there are problems, there always are. But sitting back waiting for the curtain to fall is a pretty passive approach, and you may end up waiting a lot longer than you think.
People have been calling the end of America ever since there has been an America. Show me your necessity that this time it’s different.
Yeah, they said the same thing about the British empire the so called nation where the sun never sets on until one day there was sunset.
You want data and evidence-based information? PM me and I’ll show you some pretty interesting websites that spend 24/7 postulating the near demise of the United States along with the entire global economy.
If not then you will have to wait until the next week or two where I will gather a bunch of resources illustrating it in a thread. It’s on my ILP to do list.
That’s not showing me the necessity or strength in your position, it’s just making an inference. Of course societies inevitably crumble, I’m not disputing that. What I’m saying is, on what basis would you conclude the immanent demise of the US society?
