but not muscles and lack of senility.
Amen… but ya can’t tell a twenty-five year old that, because, after all, they know eveything. (no disrespect intended because I knew it all too, and I was only 19.)
not to mention money and power

Tell it like it is, brother!
Future Man, you can have anyone after fourty, shouldn’t be much trouble for a strong buck like yourself. Thirty, on the other hand, as GCT so gracefully put it, is prime time.
The quarrelling between all the kids and the old folks reminds of something Nietzsche mentioned about bad manners as politeness. The old should find the arrogance of youth admirable, as a sign of strength.
Beautiful. The final redeeming factor. It looks like admonishment would be hipocrisy in this case. Nice example, Bessy.

I’ll be 28 in a couple of months.
lol. this immediately came into my head when i read my post.
Release every zig? Yet one more thing I thought I would never see at ILP. Truly I live in an age of wonder. And De’Trop is right FM… physically your best days are still ahead of ya. Alas, from what I understand, it is a rather sharp decline post thirty. Your mileage may vary.
For great justice! GTC, for great justice!
Good ol’ Zero Wing. Its one of those things that give me a bit of pause before dismissing memetics as overly reductionist.
Where is this topic about memetics?
By the way, I am 20.

Yes, Samkhya, the tangents in here are Norm Crosby-Rubikesque, but I am probably too old and uncool to get the drift. May I add that the perfect age is to look 30 and feel 50, AND if you take care of your body, you can have the unadulterated pleasure of wisdom and beauty. Thirty prime? I think not.
Unfortunately for me, it has to be. You see, this:
…does not apply to me.
Sing it with me:
“Its too late, baby, now its too late…”
Yep, if I stopped my way of life immediately, I might feel like thirty when I’m fourty. If not, well, I can imagine that I’ll be pretty sore from my work by the time I’m fourty-five.
There are no active topics about it at the moment. I know that Pax Vitae has been studying it for a while now. You could probably get a new discussion of it going in the main philosophy room. Or find an old one and vivify it.

You make me laugh. (I am talking women. Ruddy and silver becomes a man.) The dreaded double standard is alive and kicking, I’m afraid. The e-mail was from me.
old enough to know better… but still too young to care.

Another young buck here, I’m 25.
haha…you think you’re a young buck?
i’m 17…and not too sure where i fit in here…laughs…i’m just a casual observer, you’ll often catch me lurking, i’ll be doing a lot of reading…not much arguing…

I am 18, one of the younger members I suppose.
19, and you can probably tell by my posting.
