How to live a life!

My cousin once said I was a coward, an idiot, that my pursuit of philosophy is nothing short of the idiotic. He looked down on me. Now I realised how right he was.

In life, we must have power. We must develop ourselves intellectually and physically. If not, we are useless. How can you help others if you can’t even help yourself?

The reason I keep on coming back to ILP is because of my love for most people on this forum. The majority of people here want to improve themselves, want to reach greater heights. Now I am telling you the way forward is have power.

Take an example, if someone is insulting you. and you want to insult back? how would you do that? you use your wit, thus the need for the intellect. if you see people getting mentally abused, you use your mental power to help the helpless, then help the helpless to gain intellectual power so they can be independent.

Now, if someone is going to wack you? You must have the physical capability at defending yourself AGAINST their attack! thus the need for physical power.

The combination of the two leads to great power!

I am not a hypocritical ass who rants on and on, and dispise people. I am in fact, the best Christian there is. I love you all, that’s why I keep on coming back to enlighten the lost souls. I see in you all the me that was once you. I am not arrogant, I just simply hate the people whom are stupid AND arrogant.

I have friends whom are bricklayers and they have not had much education but they are very decent, honest blokes. I help them in whatever way I can. What I can’t stand, is those intellectual idiots who have read themselves stupid and have become arrogant, in such way that they by their stupidity dispise others. Now, I completely dispise them, utterly.

I am a kind and generous and wise sage whose love for humanity compells me forward. My advice, is this. Go to the gym and do not be afraid to get yourself into arguments. I sometimes take the entire forum on just to exercise my intellectual muscles, and as a result I have made into the hall of shame, my lust for power made me very unpopular. Imagine me doing intellectual push-ups with your intellectual weights on my back. God I love a good work out!

Now I am giving you the advice given to me. that is argue and exercise yourself mentally and physically. May God help you to become an intellectual giant, and a hero!

I assure you that you are, and I can call upon the written testimony of dozens of people that will confirm this…

???

There you go…

POR, that would be the idea of philosophy lest we neglect the notable efforts and achievements of our historical fellow philosophers who used their notions as a manner of adding implements and exertions still used to this day as representations for their true grasp of this universe.

SilentSoliloquy

thanks to their true understanding, today we still have wars, famines, hypocrisy, hate, lies… they have not solved anything. All they have written are bunch of books by humans with no better understanding of the world than a garbage collector. all they do is ponder and ponder? why do I have to ponder my life, why can’t I live it.

I took your point of view before, but I was changed in an ephiphany by my cousin, you can not be a weak, philosopher. you must be strong and loving and brave.

You name one thing philosophers have discovered? philosophy clarifies, but never invents.

I hate you. I shouldn’t have to defend myself, verbally or physically. I’d much rather have the ability to resolve the offender’s problems to keep them from ever attacking again than defend myself.

Why philosophize?

Because I’ve got nothing better to do.

BTW: Working out is an artificial solution to an artificial problem. If you need to be buff for day to day life, or if you “need” to be buff at all, you will be, just from living day to day life.

What PoR writes is a very intricate practical joke that someone… is deciding to play on ILP.

Don’t take him seriously. Nevertheless, it’s still interesting to read when you’re bored.

Trolling again eh PoR? Bad day?

How can you help others if you can’t even help yourself?

Brian Clough was an alcoholic but an excellent football manager…
