I have one, too. I bought it because it was one of the smallest and cheapest smart phone and I used to write software that runs on it (and other WindowsCE platform).
Many old softwares still work great on it, in addition to new one.

HTC devices (based on smartphone or WindowMobile 5 or 6, etc) can be used as MicroSD memory card reader or just like an USB stick with this software:

This allows us to read/write the memory card in the phone with any PC/MAc/Linux machine without the need to install ActiveSync.
And to connect with PC, I use this cable (with home/car chargers).
It takes less space than the cable that comes with the phone.
