Hes happy and in love.
Thats the way people used to act a long time ago before cool hit the market.
My Gosh Tedious Old Fart!
I think that Tom Cruise’s public antics have done little except hurt his professional career. There is such a thing as public dignity. Let him act absurd around his friends, in private. That’s what friends are for.
Fart (if I may be informal), you said detrop looks like Zappa (which detrop will love) so it’s obvious you know him quite well…
I grew up on Zappa (but I’m playing hard to get with detrop and not telling him about it).
I think the very first swear words I heard on record were Zappa’s and, strangely enough – considering the focus of the video seemed to be on incest – was one song that burned deep into my brain from constantly singing (we used to sing these verses everytime we saw a hot babe)
If she were my daughter, I’d…
What would you do, Frankie?
Well, if she were my daughter, I’d…
What would you do, Frankie?
If she were my daughter, I’d…
What would you do, Frankie?
Smother my daughter in chocolate syrup
And strap her on again, oh baby
Smother that girl in chocolate syrup
And strap her on again
I’m sure it used to say
Smother my daughter in chocolate syrup
And fuck her till the cows come home
Smother that girl in chocolate syrup
And fuck her till the cows come home…
(how come the lyrics have changed? Is this a 2006 cleaned up version?
There’s a phrase that black people invented that goes Keep it Real and you may know some other variation.
That phrase sometimes means dont be all polite and fake when you have real feelings to express.
It came about after the 50s and 60s when black started to confront what they knew to be wrong in the community and culture. People was walkin around with a smile on their face an hate in their heart. So, we started sayin Keep it Real to people that was lyin.
The same phrase should go for good feelins too. All over the tube people be hatin on eachother and talkin bout seperatin an shit. Then a nice young man thats had several divorces, a bad childhood, and cant get a girl pregnant finds someone he love gets excited and jumps on a couch we say hes crazy.
Thats the response of a crazy world.
Havin dignity is having emotions that fit the situation.
The melodrama that Tom Cruise displayed doesn’t correspond with Keeping it Real. His excitement was bogus grandstanding.
Genuine politeness isn’t fake its about respecting other people, and asking them to respect you in kind. To avoid constant struggle we collectively invented politeness. Some people too often use a claim of authenticity for nothing more than an act of self-indulgence.
It is better for people to be honest than dishonest, but it is also better for people to be fully aware of the impact of their words than for them to be flatly apathetic to what their words will cause. There are times when being honest demands that you make people uncomfortable, but that has to be done with some wisdom guiding it.

That aint want keepin it real means.
You speakin against truth with pretty words. That a kind of comfortable lie.
You need to think on that with your philososophy.
Keep it real!
Hello F(r)iends,
Keep smilin’ keep shinin’
Knowing you can always count on me for sure
That’s what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I’ll be on your side forever more
That’s what friends are for
You assume this guy has friends…
Cruise’s antics are genuine because the man is a fake.
His whole world is built on illusion and absurdity.
Why pick him out for his dedication to this farce we call Hollywood?
