If the entire point is communication such that you have the opportunity to treat the other the way you would want to be treated, which includes taking into account what they want because that’s what you would want them to do for you… which requires being able to ask them what they want, and answer them when they ask you … which words facilitate … and emotions are in the wanting neighborhood… Then you miss the point without words and emotions. Words can take many forms, though. Actions can be a form of words that are stronger and more concrete. Words are really just anything that encodes what you want to mean. However, they can also be camouflage. That is why actions speak louder than written or spoken language. Actions are harder — even a long con is not something someone wants to put their whole life into because it’s usually just a means to the “real” (still fake… they also con themselves) end.
