If you come in for an abortion for whatever reason, you can have one, but then you are to be sterilized. Either you or the male sperm donor gets sniped. Tubes tied or Vasectomy it doesn’t matter, just someone has to get fixed. In the case of rape the cops will bring the offender in and take care of it for you. In the case of hideous birth defects, hey…maybe God is trying to tell you something. In the case of plain old irresponsible unprotected sex, well…you’ve all ready demonstrated a failure to control your reproductive choices so now we will choose for you.
The cost of one abortion is one sterilization. Six Billion is too many.

What about the fact that we’ve decided as a society that 15 year olds aren’t responsible for their actions? Should we permanently incapacitate them when they’re only defect is youth?
Maybe you missed the part where I pointed out that pregnancy was a leading cause of death worldwide for women. Its not like the notion that they can get problems too quick for treatment to respond, or maybe they don’t want to TAKE THAT FUCKING RISK. This is her fucking body, not the babies, not a clump of cells without a nervous system or a brain, and not some half developmed non-conscious beast.
I afford a MONKEY more god-damn respect because a monkey is demonstratably more aware, cognitively, in every way, then a fetus. We kill monkeys with little or no remorse, and we’d kill them with even less remorse if they were a leading cause of female death.
Leave religious bullshit at the table, even a full baby can’t tell one object from another for a very long time out of the womb. They don’t even feel pain until very very late in development.
Also, a lot of abortions take place before its more then some kind of blob or handful of cells.
The idea that we should sterilize people for abortion suggests that theres somthing wrong with abortion. Theres not. (minus cases of people trying to get pregnant for the sole purpose of abortion).

Not that I think a person shouldn’t have the forsight to avoid the whole situation entirely. But the facts are grim enough, childbirth/production is brutally dangerous, until very late in development the baby is less cognitively aware then a monkey, it will be a human someday, but tis not now, and it shouldn’t have rights like one while living parasitically inside a human host.

Abortion is about the only way to realistically destroy poverty/starvation in some places, when women are forced to pump out babies constantly.
What the fuck man. What is your arguement that abortion shouldn’t be right all the time? I assume its somthing about ‘potential life’, whether a woman is raped is a pretty inconsequential issue when deciding to keep a baby or not by any realistic standards. Whats the standard here? Why is it okay for a raped woman to abort this ‘life’ over a nonraped woman? Is psychological stress of the woman over-coming the issue of potential life, is it her choice to deal with that stress or not? Yes, obviously it fucking is.
Just like its their choice if they don’t want to deal with the super huge risks of pregnancy. Whether a person experiences psychological pain when giving birth shouldn’t be an issue worth considering if you’re insisting that abortion is wrong. What fucking standard could you possibly make that call on? Either its not a real human life and its okay on that basis (non conscious/self aware, can’t feel pain until super late) or it is a ‘life’ and its wrong.
One or the other, the fact that someone is raped doesn’t justify taking a ‘life’ and if its not a ‘human life’ then its okay to get rid of it in almost any circumstance. Anyway.

Look at the statistics of how many women get messed up from that, many take hospital visits seriously)
So a rape on top of the fact that its pretty ridiculously riskful to begin with just pushes the decision over towards the woman? the risk alone means nothing, but a psychological damage makes it okay to take what was once so important a life that a woman had to house it unwillingly?
