so, i had an interesting e-mail a couple days ago.
PayPal Security Center: Urgent PayPal Account Login Request.
Notice of account temporary suspension

Its a fake, lots of scams regarding PayPal out there.
Maybe if you activated the account you would have made it open to the person that sent you the email.

Sounds like someone is phishing for you.
Scam, certainly. Plenty of them about, ignore them all or report them if you like…
I read in the news about a similar scam only it was supposedly a Barclays email instead of paypal. It seems to be a new trend that scam emails attempt to make us believe they are preventing scams. Oh the irony.
That’s what happens when the scammers think that they are really being cool and funny…

thanks OBW and eveyone else who responded here. it’s only by chance i found that e-mail as it was caught by my junk e-mail filters and i’d taken it out of my junk e-mail folder.guess it went to the right place?
the part of the mail i did’nt post here was info. on how to protect your paypal account,also sounding very legit,apparently.
