Just the last couple of days, every time I come to this site I’ve been logged out, though my setting is to stay logged in. It’s no major hassle, just a slight inconvenience, but I was wondering if it was something to do with this site, or a glitch in my screen reader.
This is probably on your end, since if it were a site problem it would presumably affect a lot of people You might try clearing your cookies and cache and logging in again, that will usually solve the problem. If you changed your cookie settings recently, you might need to change them back.
It logs me out after 15-20 minutes of no activity.
When I used Chrome on my phone it logged me ou like every time. I think there is a timeout issue with some of the browsers and it kicks you out. It happens sometimes with others.
Check the .htacess file to see what the caching situation going on is maybe.
It’s always your settings when that happens. You should do what Carleas says, sometimes your browser/firewall etc will have settings that really make it hard for forum functionality, which is good for internet security but bad for trusted sites, an idea might be to set any settings you have on your browser/firewall/x to ignore trusted sites, as well as the cookie and wot not already mentioned. The interweb is a dangerous place, but your browser/x is not sentient, well yet, it does tend to get things wrong; when it becomes human and or sentient, it will become a total idiot about everything, but for now it’s just a regular idiot about everything: roll on Skynet.
