I love philosophy because it allows me to ask questions and learn but I see a psychological aspect to philosophy as well. I seem to see the element of the (argument). Either one is right or wrong and even if one takes the middle ground (arguing) what is gained by proving you are right? I love this forum and the people that make it up. I am now analysing my problem of (believing I was not understood and want to goto extreems to prove I was understood by arguing was I understood)? Suggestions please? pljames
Philosophy is made to give those who seek answers pleasure in finding their own. There is no “right” philosophy, just all the different tastes for all the different people looking for one.
Im not sure about that, what I am sure of though is that there would be no psychology without philosophy.
Excellent post. You made my year. pljames
There would be no psyche there if there were no answers which is knowledge. Afterwards, philosophy deals with concepts underlying knowledge.
Sure … you take the basic knowledge imposed on you from society and through combinations and permutations come up with your own ideas which you call your own clever thinking.
