I saw this and I couldn't resist posting it...

I’m not sure what to say. It was interesting, and while the ending was humorous, it was also something of a letdown. I guess I thought it was leading to something profound, which it may have, but if so I may have missed it. :-k

I guess the message is that abstraction can never really extinguish the real world…

Sometimes it’s not even succesful in making us forget it for more than some minutes.

I too thought that there would be a more profound ending, but it was still a good piece - I guess an eternal being wouldn’t have to be profound but just ‘be’.

The ending is profound, maybe i just read it from a differnt perspective. See i do believe that it was referring to god and time. If a student thinks the hour passes slowly for her/him, then what must it be like for a reallllllllllllllly bored immortal God. Time is relative.

It spoke to me of futility. So much in the universe and yet we view it as absurd and boring. We don’t really grasp what is really there for us.

Hmm, yea that too , good catch =D>
