Iapetus -- the coolest 'moon' on the block

enterprisemission.com/moon1.htm

This is a long article, but it’s super mega fascinating.

Is there a planet-ship orbiting Saturn? How does this tie back into Authur and how did he know it?

Beyond a conspiracy theory… this is a cosmiciracy theory

Old Gobbo, you’re really starting to worry me.

Whatever, did you even read the article? Typical…

.

This thing has been blowing my mind for the past couple hours. Simply astonishing stuff. I can’t wait for the high res-pics.

Okay Gobbo… over to Natural Sciences you go… :sunglasses:

It was fun until it started talking about “rectangles” that weren’t there, and “building like structures” that were just as easily craters. Or a vast army of nano-bots. It would have been much better if it just stuck to telling us the features of the moon, and left out the fantasy-land conjectures as to how they got there.

Plus if intelligent lifeforms are advanced enough to completely change the geographic design of planet, how are they going to miss a planet with life in the same solar system. This is where the alien people become retarded, with there “sign-posts” and inter-galactic societies that wish to monitor our progress and leave clues about their existence to us buried deep within space in cryptic planet messages.

And the Earth is really only 4,325 years old! The mounting evidence from the bible makes this fact not challengeable!

Just as when you admit to it being an artificial planet, the evidence is everywhere, so it is once you admit that God created the Earth, the evidence is everywhere. This also works if you admit to evolution, admit to extraterestrial design, and any conspiracy one has ever thought of.

It works both ways, when someone is unwilling to entertain a notion because of it’s connections with kooks… There are some very interesting phenomenon going on on this planet that is not readily explained without the interference of intelligence. Obviously it is absurd to conclude that it has to be aliens, but it is equally absurd to conclude that it cannot possibly be aliens. The fact is that both positions are sensationalist at this point, and without more information there is no rational conclusion to be obtained.

Of course.

I never mentioned intelligence – and I think the article says quite specifically that it’s venturing into ‘conjecture’ with most of that stuff. The first part is scientifically sound I think.

It’s interesting, you have to admit. That’s all I’m trying to say.

As a child of Saturn and heir to Cronus, I can tell you that there are many things about the planet that your species does not know. Nor will you be allowed to know until the time is right.

If one is a nihilist, why should he bother with making 1092 posts?

My purpose was to show the absurdity of indulging the equivalent to “conspiracy” theories. Any fiction has a base in fact. The approach to understanding the planet ought to be an empirical one, because searching for a God leads, inevitably, to the finding of one.
