Were they God’s sword and obeying God by doing so? I see them hide behind this scripture all the time to justify their power and control over us. Does God punish and execute innocent people by mistake?
Does He punish poor immigrant workers looking for a better life…or the ones who lure them here with menial jobs, who want a fence built to show everyone they don’t want them here. WTF?

it went something like this [ There cannot be a president or a country that claims to rule by god’s will because the book they use to justify their actions claims that there is only one kingdom of god, it is in heaven. ]
It was in a book about american politics, and obviously refering to bush. Im an agnostic so i didnt pay much attention when i heared this on T.V. but i faintly remember it along these lines…it may be a bit different than the original theory, but it is thought provoking… enjoy…
LOL, because God is not paying taxes to pay for illegals medical, education and other benefits. We the people are and I want my taxes for my people, not illegals. Go Minutemen!

God split and expects us to make the best of what we have.
Also, the tithe is a great economic reason for the clerics to want to control the masses. Many popes were warriors, Pope Julius comes to mind.
