Ah Magnus, thank you for that. You just gave me a few moments… That is my favorite musical and I love that song. His voice still gave me the shivers. His voice is beautiful, exquisite. I just had to re-play “I believe”.
Yesterday I had to have my beautiful baby - Yoda, my cat, put to sleep because he was so far gone, so sick. I have had him for 14 years plus a few months. He was not even a month old when I rescued him off the street. I found him 7 months after I had to have my other precious cat, Georgie, put to sleep. No more cats for me. Too much pain/grief.
At least you had each other [in your lives], as opposed to any other cat/human configuration… better to have been in their/each-others’ life, than never at all.
That’s definitely something to smile about and feel blessed over.
This is true, MagsJ. We have to remind ourselves of that and be so grateful for it. I would not have found or had any other cat but Yoda and Georgie.
At the same time, the grief is there and mingled with the gratitude and the memories and I sometimes have to draw such a breath when it seems like a tsunamic wave is about to wash over me and drown me in sorrow. I see him everywhere. There is not a space which he has not occupied. I understand that it is a question of time, letting go and acceptance. Everything is a process.
I can feel the blessing but the smiling about – well, I am not “there” yet.
What’s the difference look-wise? They are about the same. You can see Orianthi a bit better here. And here she looks a bit more mature (i.e. less fat on her face) but no longer cute. You need a bit of a fat in order to have that cute look.
As far as cuteness is concerned, young Kylie Minogue is my pick.
They all look great, but I like Avril. Always have. She has a really nice smile and her eyes just light up when she smiles. Look at the video I posted, at 16 seconds when she says “moshi moshi.” So hot!
