A couple of years ago on April 1st, my favourite documentary channel ran a doco called something like: “The Moon Landing Didn’t Happen”. The whole doco was full of interviews with key White House people like Henry Kissinger, Rumsfeld etc and people “in the know” like Kulbrick’s wife who spun the story of how vital it was to beat the russians and how they got Kulbrick to fake it. I was stunned, why hadn’t we heard this till now?
To cut to the chase, the piece was cut and pasted so the answers the white house staff gave fitted perfectly onto the end of the questions. eg “so the you had to fake the moon landing?” “Yes, we had to fake it, we werent going to let the russians know what we were not capable of” (Kissinger – probably talking about the Vietnam war or similar)
It was only till I thought it through that I began to question. It was April 1st and I couldn’t remember a sentence that had words like “moon landing” and “fake it” in the same sentence. They could have been talking about something else when they answered the questions?.. and they were.
I was so pissed I havent been able to believe anything IVe read or seen an April 1st again.
On a more serious note, I do appreciate all the kinds words you’ve said about the site and if I ever did think about closing the site I would perhaps reconsider based on the stuff you have said here so maybe I also learnt a valuable lesson as well.

Sex, drugs, dysfunctional families and rock n’ roll… Philosophy? Sure. Because everyone has there own way of being so. Personally, I think you are changing lives here. Too melodramatic? I think not. Best therapy I’ve ever had…
I got caught in the end of March - not thinking scenario as well. It’s nice to see so many concerned about the site as well as their devil/angel relationships with others who dwell here. It’s been a good laugh and a refreshing confirmation at the same time.
