Are you even serious? In the perfect cell saga when cell and Gohan were doing their final showdown with the kamehameha, Cell mentions that with the energy at hand he could take out half the galaxy. Gohan killed Cell while ssj2. Some years later Goku surpassed his son Gohan in power when he went ssj4.
