Hey, do any of youse know any sites that are good for this sort of political/economic/philosophical debate stuff that younger people can go onto without feeling like they know absolutly nothing? Ie any equivilant of this site for younger peeps?
click on my banner in my sig box. It isn’t meant specificly for younger people, but… … … there aren’t as many academics over there. And the subjects are basicly general opinion stuff, instead of Thus Spake Zarathustra kind of stuff. I don’t know, check it out.
Philosophyforums.com has a ton of young people (even kids who are only 14) on it, but I think you’ll have a hard time with your second prerequisite.
I consider myself a liberal when it comes to promoting similar forums but I’d like some people to stay here please!

Don’t worry Ben,
I won’t allow that to happen! Nothing against Philosophy Forums, but there is just too many people for my taste and the design really sucks. In my opinion. It is very impersonal. But try it out. Ultimatly ILP is the priemier philosophy forum on the net! DFS is discussion. But check it out and make up your own mind, and you will see why I frequent this spot so much. I wouldn’t be talking crap if I really wasn’t a regular here.

Hey, sorry ben, not trying to rob members from you, but rather trying to get people involved in this sort of thing without scaring them off with graduates knowledge! Figure that this way, they can get involved and maybe we’ll see them here in the near future! Cheers guys, i’ll keep you posted on the responses i get from those i advised (hopefully all good comments!)

I think you are out of luck, then, if you do not like any of the sites listed. I think PhilosophyForums.com is as close as you will get to what you are looking for. However, I do not see what makes you think ILP has “people who either are not mature and/or do not know what they are talk(ing) about”.
