Well, I moved it because it’s a suggestion about the behaviour of users on this site, whereas Philosophy is generally more universal and less housekeeping But I kept the shadow topic because I do think it’s relevant to Philosophy, and something that contributors to the Phil. board might be interested in.

I take this thread as a personal affront to me.
I say, instead of having these rules, whenever someone says ‘your being rude’ a old German warrior
jumps out in shrilling theatrics weilds a great wooden studded mace around a few times in the air and then slams it down hard on the tattle tail crying

Well I agree for normal threads, but remember that warriors have ethics and rules too. I just thought that a certain kind of thread could hopefully get us beyond emotion and talking past each other, it can get a tad childish.
