I am afraid that cannot happen. My original post declared the cut-off to be 7:00p.m. on Friday, there may be others who are considering volunteering and they should not be excluded.
Besides, there are many volunteers where their participation is contingent on the debate itelf not starting for about two weeks.
This is ILP, the only possibility is people that do not care in the least

Of course, I think there will be more volunteers from over there, everyone over there seems to be trying to get other people to volunteer. I have to admire the team spirit I see over there, but the team spirit is pretty good over here also.

I would like to say what three I would like to represent each site in the debate, but I really shouldn’t.
Besides, of the six that I would want to debate each site has one user that does not post much anymore and did not respond to my PM’s.
That brings up another point, where the hell is Echo, I thought for sure she would volunteer.

Of the ILO people, I’d worry only about Gamer, who is sporadically brilliant. Despite having seemingly lost some of his old edge and swagger. The sticking point for them I think will be keeping their explosive egos in check long enough to actually debate. If you’re reading this guys, no offence, but your thread on ILO is about as team spirited and coherrent as the day room of a mental institution.
Anyway. When does this show get itself on the road…?
The end of the volunteering is Friday.
On Friday I will post a new thread for the official votes to take place for what three volunteers are selected, and the voting will be allowed for one week until next Friday.
I am looking for this show to take to the road on Monday, the fifteenth, but I can not guarantee that particular date. I do not see any reason why it would not be Monday, though.
Like I said earlier, the participation of about six total volunteers was based on this thing not actually starting for about two weeks. As you know there are many students both here and over there and this week and next week are exam weeks for some people.
Sittlichkeit, that’s nice of you to say. Xunzian is indeed one of our Big Guns and I’m flattered to be compared to him.
But, I’d like to clarify something about belief sets (not mine and Xunz’s, but on the team in general). Having complimentary styles will be important, but beliefs are almost wholly irrelevant. We won’t know what we’re arguing about, or which side we’re defending, until the day of, so it’s more important to pick people who can adopt any stance, even ones they disagree with. Really, you need people who are consistently sharp and for whom nothing is sacred.
