Indus Valley Vedic Age

Indus culture and Gods prevailed almost everywhere in the world, signifies strong connections with other civilizations. “Some of these links explain as – (Stephen-knapp.com art gallery pictures) Hindu Egyptian Monarch of those times weaving urdhava pundra (V) on forehead, the deviser and builder of the very first pyramid during the third dynasty of Egypt. A Roman Superior wearing the Hindu dhoti and (V) mark on forehead. More photographic evidence discovered are black and white click links.” These links denote world was one, born in Africa and nurtured in Ancient Indus. Over the time expansions of civilization and over population bifurcated into many branches. “A book written by MM Ninan The Development of Hinduism (page NO: 242): “Abraham, a popular leader of masses lived approximately 2000BC in the NW Indian subcontinent-Asia Minor-Central Asia region. After his death in the tradition of spirit worship he became the “Bermer(u)” for Tulu tribes. Vedic Aryan Converted the Abraham legend into the Brahman, the supreme cosmic creative. Gradually with the time Brahman evolved into the God Brahma with ten or four heads in different Purana epics, by the time of composition of the Ramayana ca.800-500BC. Book also denotes According to the present scholarship they are the descendants of Abraham of the Old Testament originally from the Ur of Chaldea. The word Ur indicating village still forms part of the Dravidian languages.” Brahma means a creator of the world!! This comes true as Hebrews created the other religions of the world. Tulu research blogpost – Tulu tribes of Pirak (Tulunad) were Dravidians of early form of Indus Valley, were followers of Lord Shiva. Question raises in my mind, does it mean Brahma (Abraham) was descendent of Lord Shiva? “The Handbook of Tibetan Buddhist Symbols (book page 97) – The swastika was first identified with the Vedic God Vishnu, as the solar symbol of his fiery discus or chakra, or as the particular hair-curl or mark that adorns Vishnu’s breast, known as shrivasta. The Sanskrit word svastika derives from the root sv-asti, meaning well-being, food fortune, success, or prosperity.” “Ancient Idol of Lord Vishnu found during excavation in an old village in Russia’s Volga Region – The report says that the area in which the idol was found is called Staraya Maina. In Rig Veda Staraya Maina is the name of the land of 45 rivers (on whose banks the noble Rishis conducted the famous Horse Sacrifices), where the sun god descends into one fifty two forty seven. In Russian orthodox Christianity, worship is conducted very much like in Vishnu temples. Russians refer to the feast of Vizhnyir Ekoratsya Vikhunh, directly corresponding with Sanskrit Vaikhunda Ekhadasi” Indus Valley Aryan Civilization was much older than what is estimated, widespread expansion extending up to, in Rig Veda, rus soviath sapthamahanagaratham (the ancient and holy land of the 722 flying vehicle). “The book Mythology of Vishnu and his incarnations (page NO: 16) – Some scholars believe that originally Jagannatha of Puri was a tribal deity who was later recognized as Vishnu-Krishna. Suvira Jaiswal in her thesis origin and development opines that even Vasudeva and Balarama had an unmistakable tribal background. A Pallava inscription of the latter half of the 7th century A.D. enumerates 10 incarnation of Vishnu as follows: Fish, Tortoise, Boar, Man-lion, Parashu Rama, Rama, Bala Rama, Buddha, Kalki.” “An online encyclopaedia of mythology and folklore explains - Vishnu antecedents are among the Dravidian people in the pre-Aryan past of India, and his current stature is based on the amalgamation of many traditions. Vishnu was more easily absorbed in the Vedic Aryan pantheon more easily than Shiva since there are indications of Vishnu’s various forms in the earliest Upanishads.” As I observe: Human spiritual imaginations for praising nature’s powerful laws and its physical symbols Sun, moon, air, water, fire, food, birth, death, and so on, created Lord Brahma (creator) Lord Vishnu (protector) and Lord Shiva (demise) Were first explored Mantras of nature’s law, ‘our birth is for certain Dharma encoded by Brahma (creator) so we are born, then nurtured and protected (Vishnu) to attain vigour to perform Karma, finally all have to perish (Shiva) to sow seeds for new generation, “Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Reincarnation by Swami Bhaktisiddhanta - Chapter 2, verse 22 - vasamsi jirnani yatha vihaya navani grhnati naro’parani tatha sarirani vihaya jirnany anyani samyati navani dehi - As a person gives up old and worn out garments and accepts new apparel, similarly the embodied soul giving up old and worn out bodies verily accepts new bodies. “Yajur Veda 35.2 - savitā te shridebhyah prthivyām lokamicchatu, tasmai yujyant Amustriyāh (article by Yogacharya yogi baba Prem) - The sun God grants bodies in different births, according to your deeds, providing a happy or unhappy place on this earth. May radiant beams prove helpful to you.” (Tibetan Buddhist teaching of incarnation youtube)’. Antiquity humans honoured these Mantra names to saviours of the society and its culture.

You have posted two essentially identical cut and paste essays. As forum moderator, I will permit one to stand but not both. Let me know which one to delete. From now on, do not cut and paste whole essays on this forum. Instead, incorporate material by reference with a link. If I do not hear from you in 24 hours, I will delete one of your duplicate posts myself.

I hope you stick around to discuss this, sadashivan, as I just finished writing V-OutOfTheWilderness about a very similar tangent.

There is a passage that is of interesting note that actually goes older than the Indus Valley Civilization in Joseph Campbell’s book, “The Masks of God, Vol. 1: Primitive Mythology”:
“The dreamlike spell of this contemplative, metaphysically oriented tradition, where light and darkness dance together in a world-creating cosmic shadow play, carries into modern times an image that is of incalculable age. In its primitive form it is widely known among the jungle villages of the broad equatorial zone that extends from Africa eastward, through India, Southeast Asia, and Oceania, to Brazil, where the basic myth is of a dreamlike age of the beginning, when there was neither death nor birth, which, however, terminated when a murder was committed. The body of the victim was cut up and buried. And not only did the food plants on which the community lives arise from the those buried parts, but on all who ate of their fruit the organs of reproduction appeared; so that death, which had come into the world through a killing, was countered by the opposite, generation, and the self-consuming thing that is life, which lived on life, began its interminable course.”

Take note of the locations outlined in this anthropological tracing:
extends from Africa eastward, through India, Southeast Asia, and Oceania, to Brazil”.
Here’s what that looks like on a map:

So not only is there a tie between the Indus Valley and the Hebraic culture, but there is an older shared tie ideologically from Africa through all of Southern Asia (I’ll leave out South America for the time being, as that is a separate tangent related to the on-going dispute regarding the diffusionist theory).

Oh, I hope he sticks around as well. But, he didn’t reply to my request within 24 hours so I deleted his duplicate post that was under a different title. The indus valley was a fertile matrix of ideas and practices that influenced the development of the major religions significantly.

It’s actually terribly overlooked regularly, the Indus Valley Civilization; probably because we haven’t been able to determine terribly much about their language, and this makes it incredibly challenging to understand their culture and people. Coupled with the shear age back that we’re talking about, I think it often is overlooked just because of so little is known.

Even if he doesn’t come back, I may circle back around to this tangent later in a new thread and present the valley civ. under the lights of fascination I find (rather than a spam burst from someone else’s work).

Right I guess it is one way to explain the putative monomyth, if in fact such a thing is more than an unsupported hypothesis. I believed it for a long time. I have read that it is disputed by most of the academics, but, I haven’t re-examined it thoroughly since reading Campbell in the 90s. Before that I read the complete works of Jung and he was big on that.[ Although with the collective unconscious as an “explanation”]. I suspect that for the experts it’s a lot more ambiguous and less sexy than that.

It is, but I’m actually doing such research now (I’ll shoot you my google sites page where I’m keeping notes on the work).
My primary focus is the anthropological quandary of the Hebrew peoples rising to such culture as they were in a mere 400 years (remarkable considering the era and just being Canaan based shepherd highlanders before starting their own civilization); no one has really solved that quandary.

I’m starting to think that the Indus Valley nexus (huge market center, and perfect migration bottle-neck point) may have a role to play in answering this question.

Is this relevant, do you think?

I think it’s relevant to some level, I’m not sure what that level is yet.

Thanks for deleting I did not realize the duplication. I posted because discussion on this subject would render to know negative and positive aspects of scholars and researchers theories who endeavoured to find facts. Thanks again!

Thanks sir, Wish all my best to your research!! To my opinion migration from Africa ‘Djibouti connecting Bab el-Mandeb’ brought the primary stage language too (you tube link of African language close in Indian Tamil) which later evolved to Dravidian language than to modern Tamil and Sanskrit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWyAYGlFZjk&feature=youtu.be. Tamil was part of Dravidian language though this language anymore as the Latin.

A book by Gene Matlock "Jesus and Moses are buried in India birth place of Abraham and Hebrews - Jews were Indian tribe or sect called Calani (name derived from Sanskrit Kalyani, present name Kalyan in Mumbai have existed since 1000BC). Moses (Moshe in Hebrew) was supposed to be an incarnation of the Hindu deity Shiva or Mahesh. At one time he was worshipped as a bull called Baal. The Hittites, the masters of Jerusalem when Abraham arrived there, were an ancient Indo-Hebrew ruling caste
