last night saw “Inside man” with denziel washington,
jodie foster and clive owen. What a good film.
Kept me guessing right to the end and you think
you know who the bad guys are, but you don’t.
My favorite aspect was not the crime, but
how everybody in the movie is smart.
I would highly recommend this film as a
thought film on who/what is really good and evil.
‘inside man’ is a very good film, with excellent pace, intriguing characters and a modern style. the audience only knows as much as frazier (washington) does throughout and the suspense works very well.
i’m not sure how much it questions our attributions of ‘good’ and ‘evil’, though - although russell (owen) is extremely sharp, we are still inclined to side with frazier in his attempt to oust those who have terrorised bank workers, caused civil unrest and broken the law.
