Our civilization is ancient by your reckoning, so you would do well to listen.

You are but very young children, and you appear to be mostly without discipline.

Look at the state of your room.

Why are you playing with things that present such a danger to you and everything else? Do you not know the risk?

You are casting dumb objects outside of your heliosphere. Why would you do such a thing?

Do you not know that litter can be fatal for any probe travelling at speed?

The litter will get caught in the vortex, and present a significant danger for any objects approaching your heliosphere legitimately.

Stop sending objects into deep space. Or we are going to lose our patience with all this, we don’t want to get to that point.

I can recommend it. Its first and foremost a very good scifi mystery thriller but also touches upon a lot of topics from philosophy to the potential nature of existence in the universe.

No, I like to read books. I have an ereader, and mostly use that, but want them on paper if they are as good as people are saying.

Aye of course. No, @Ichthus77, I had a dream last night, and it was about spaghetti. So I put two and two together and thought this must have something to do with it.

I know I am slightly delusional, fair, but not that delusional.

I’m on the second book now, one word of advice, many people consider it to be hard sci-fi (scientifically accurate), well it totally isn’t. You’ll have a good time just don’t expect it to be hard sci-fi.

Its a mix. The flashier concepts are clearly made up, but most of it is using real theories and concepts. Wouldnt work otherwise.
Tho thats the first i hear people considering it to be 1:1 scientifically accurate.
Its not the right book to read while being high.

Where did I say 1:1? Most hard sci-fi is still only more-or-less scientifically accurate.

You can “use” real theories and concepts, for example you can say that gravity makes things fall up and turn blue.

I always felt hard sci fi was about how involved and internally coherent, how “hardcore,” the invented universe was.
