My phone.has been dying, and I.needed a OTG and 4.0 Bluetooth phone, and wanted to.stitch over.from straightalk to.Metro PCS. We just got Metro PCS in my area, only $5 more for throttled unlimited plus hotspot.

Or getting a IPhone 4s… IPhone 4s is the most primitive level of Bluetooth compatible with the Square Credit Card reader. I didn’t really want the iPhone, but read in one of the reviews that the Homtom phones didn’t get 4g in the US, and didn’t want stuck with a inoperable phone, and so took the safe bet. Why? When.I was a wee little private trying out for the rangers, a cab service at Ft. Beginning called Ranger Cab, ran by a Ex Ranger, decided to heavily invest in fancy radios and expensive gadgetry, and his debt piled up, and he started having to let cab drivers go, till it was just him… one car. He tried to save the situation by pimping Ukrainian bookers in the back of the Taxi… I don’t know for certain what happened to him, because at a certain point he seemed to of disappeared. Moral of the story, go with what you need, not what you want till your certain you can upgrade.

So now, I got.a IPhone 4S that came with.a I touch 2Generation… I got the worthless I touch registered, but that IPhone looks like it is stolen property, I can’t register it. Fucking paperweight… I’m not.going to own any more IPhone products again after this, used to have a few dozen audio books, told me I.couldn’t.access it anymore a few years back.when I used a old IPhone, only.allowed on only one device. Now, I’m out a phone. Just gonna quit with Apple permanently, too many bad experiences.

Now, I gotta close my.eyes and hope this is going to work on Metro PCS. I see some day it works on.T-Mobile, same company, so hope so. I.asked at the store, and the as whole refused to look.at the bandwidth specifications. I found a upgraded version on eBay, same price as the Amazon.com price, but am just Damon leery of EBay right now. It seems to have a few, though not all, frequencies used in.the US.

I’m almost certainly getting fucked in this too though.

I can’t even access anything on the net save this site when my phone goes to 2.5 Edge, might as well be dead internet.

The number 1 rule of phones…don’t buy one made by apple. They are complete garbage. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Pick a real phone manufacturer. Like LG, or HTC, or Samsung, in that order. Then just sign a contract, get the phone at a discount and pay the bill. There’s a reason why people who like nice things aren’t using straight talk. I have friends who do what you’re doing with their phone plans and I see them constantly frustrated with the fact that their service is bullshit and their phones are bullshit.

I did go off a phone contract back 5ish years ago, deeply regretted it. They wouldn’t cancel my subscription after my phone was stolen. I’ve given up on that way completely, will always have that fine on my credit score. Of course, I don’t do credit, and will sooner live in a cardboard box than go into debt, and have.the.street cred to prove that, but none.the less, I’m sorta pissed some corporation will always try to collect and fail to do so for the rest of my life.

I really don’t understand people’s obsession of spending the same amount of money as they would on a used car for a cellphone. It has always appeared to me as being somewhat assinine and a waste of money.

The phone I bought is under $100 dollars, if you find a car for less than $100 I strongly recommend not driving it out of safety concerns, if it will even run.

I needed exact minimum specifications, for running a credit card scanner and use specialized equipment that can only connect to OTG phones, it isn’t a fun device, but something I require so I don’t have to be a wage bitch like you are still. I rather set my own hours, and if I decide today is fishing day, and not work day, I will go fucking fish and not worry about some flying monkey called “Boss” flying up my ass, demanding to know why I choose to sleep in or take a spontaneous roadtrip. You choose slavery, I desire a relative freedom and independence. In order to do this, I gotta jump through these fucking technical hoops, currently I’m limited to cash only jobs. I will be effectively broke in many senses for the next year or two as I further build my equipment and abilities up, but I will be broke and free. You have no clue how satisfying this prospect is, cause I’m tired of random shithead assistant managers dictating my welfare. I won’t accept that shit anymore.

And Smears, I had phone insurance, they demanded I pay a bunch of money to have apolice report faxed, and it was a few weeks wait, and didn’t replace my phone, but offer only a portion of it’s worth. Honestly, your suggestions like usualare idiotic. I will not be locked into a plan anymore, and this has taught me how to read the cell phone frequencies, I know how to do that for digital television towers when I worked a month stint for the FCC as a telephone call center, I’ve sense found a website that does cell company and frequency coverage around the country, gonna keep looking till I find the tower. I want to get to the point I can take any phone and know if it is frequency compatible with any tower on google earth- FCC has public websites that can do that with TVs, I want the cellphones. I want max knowledge and control, not some druggie thinks he knows it all approach.

Man a top of the line phone, with a contract is like 200 bucks. You insure it so you don’t have to pay 600 when you drop it in the toilet. The insurance is a few bucks a month and with verizon it extends the factory warranty to a full 2 years so it’s covered the entire time you have the contract. Only dummies pay the 600 for the phone. Also…what the hell kind of car are you getting for 600 bucks? That’s no car man.
