Well…I believe that is actually the point of such art.
The meaning…is for the artist to know (or mabye not know) and for you to wonder.
Only masters of gnosis can truly understand all of symbolism.

I don’t see two sketches, I see multiple things going on in those two sketches, I see creatures, people doors etc.
I think the purpose of such works are to see something new each time. Like reading a book, your mood can effect what you get out of it when you read the book or, in this case view such works.
