Why do you think he stopped showing up?

1. he was a consistent poster (he regularly wrote several posts a day) for many many years

2. his last posted more than three years ago (no posts on his blog either)

3. he was old (I estimate that he was 70-80 years old)

4. he didn’t show up when a book made out of his forum posts was published

In all likelihood, he’s dead. Flu killed him.

Either that or he killed his Internet persona and created a new account in order to observe what would happen in such an event. Thus, observer was born.

But that’s highly unlikely . . .

It is very funny how obsrvr524 mentions James all the time. And what is an observer anyway? Who assigns them? What company?..

Maybe James was in a profession that changed out like an elected official, or a cabinet member. Maybe something like a NASA employee. I’m curious, now.

The James here sounds like James R. on sciforums. James R. is the administrator there. I interacted with him for 4 years, and I have a good idea of how he posts, which is so much like the James here…

It’s a shame to lose such a great member. With 26,000 posts it seems like he wouldn’t just stop showing up for no reason. Something must have happened to him.

Zookers - I expected to come back asking about why Motor is so paranoid about the FBI - but I guess now that America is a socialist/communist nation mimicking the Soviet Union - they have to worry about the KGB/FBI spies hiding behind every digital sofa.

I find special relativity funny. Not that it’s wrong, just that it’s funny. (Although it can be improved upon)
