Path or something ON a path?
- Happiness is a path through life.
- Happiness is on the path of life.
Is happiness a path through life or is it something which we may find on our path of life?

I think you make your own path and will find it while you aren’t looking for it. (see the quote below) You make take a path to happiness by filling your life with joyful things. A spiritual side may keep you on a path towards a fulfilled life but that doesn’t ensure your happiness. Life holds tragedy and pain whether you are spiritual or not, but a spiritual life tends to make it easier. Is a spiritual life a path you choose? Sometimes, and sometimes your parents indoctrinate you with it. I am an agnostic but very spiritual - I see God in a child’s face or a flower. Silly? Maybe, but does that make my road and easier one? It does. Do I believe that my spiritual life makes me happier? Probably. but it isn’t something I consciously choose; it just IS for me. I do think we choose to be happy, or not…
I didn’t answer your question, really, but my path seems to be one that I am on and that I choose… and that is one of happiness. Not perfection by any means, but happiness. I am working on that “perfect path” to happiness, but I don’t think there is such a thing.
Rumor has it —> happiness is just an imaginary condition…but, Pain is real – I bought their CD today.
To me it depends on what exactly you mean by ‘a path through life.’ If you mean a way of life i.e. life is the fulfilment of happiness, then I would agree to some extent. However, I think that happiness is a very brittle thing, we will never real attain full happiness (whatever that is), but it is somethin which we may find on our path of life, just on lots of different occasions. Ergo, I cannot answer one or the other.
