It’s probably true. Most revolutionary men and women throughout history probably had noble blood. Is greatness truly genetic and availabe to a few, or to all?
Read Freud’s Moses and Monotheism. He gives a good and famous account of this theory. Not that Moses was a pharoah, but a high official in the court of the pharoah Akhenaton, who tried to convert Egypt to monotheism. The idea is that after Akhenaton was slain Moses left the country and took with him this sun religion and a slave people. Later, while wandering in the wilderness, Moses was ‘combined’ with a local hero/god which brought the sun religion of the Egyptian Moses more in line with the later, Hebrew form.

I’m no historian and haven’t gone out of my way to check what’s referenced as facts, but it was a compelling read and certainly elevated the status of Jesus in my imagination.
