Is it possible to think without prejudice?

It is actually just simply the truth. Its an ad hom but not a fallacy.

If you have all the answers then what is the point of discussing anything, and why do you bother?

I think you know why i share my knowledge- i think everyone knows lol… why- do i keep that a secret?

That was exactly my point. Whilst I can respect HTH’s beliefs, his attitude to philosophiical debate generally fucking stinks. A fair few times now in various threads I have put some time into constructing a good post in reply to HTH, and then he will just come back with some bollocks like ‘Oh yeah, says who’.

That’s why I got annoyed.

one must show respect if he wishes to receive my full help- we must remember, i do not help people that already believe- i help atheists and my methods are not what an atheist might expect to come from a believer- i use pure logic that is very easy to understand if one is able to think deeply and efficiently- but most people will most likely need my help to further understand my knowledge and that extra time only comes with respect- i share my ideas- if you want more then you must once again show respect as i see fit…i do not ignore people- i help them as much as they are capable of being helped. if you use curse words you are putting limits on the amount of help you will receive from me- if you use ad homs or insults you will limit the amount of help you receive from me.

Nobody is really in this forum for help, you realise - they are here for philosophical discussion. And disinterested discussion, mainly.

i said what i said and what i said is what i say

As usual you failed to answer my question. Seriously why are you even here?

Which is puerile nonsense and meaningless wibble, which no one but you care about.

I do not think that a person can act or think with out being prejudice.
Prejudice need not be negative, nor positive, it is neutral, is it not?
My definition of prejudice would be: To judge a person/object before knowing what they really are.
Without prejudice, everyone would walk into dark alleys renown for their population in criminals, and think nothing of it.
But with prejudice, we stay away from such places.
We don’t know if going down an alley of that description will be harmful to us, we just assume it could be and keep clear.
I know it is an odd scenario, but this is where prejudice works in our favour.

I’m sure, I needn’t go into the negative sides it can have; racism being the most dominant in my opinion.

Just my opinion on it, would love to hear your thoughts on the matter  RK
