Linguistic anthropologists often refer to “deception games” when considering the problem of the “origin of language”. That is in nature, organisms are constantly trying to deceive one another in order to avoid being trapped in anticipation.
Ergo, the evolution of language should have never happened. Organisms wouldn’t want to unite in common verse because it would allow them to be used by one another. Even when we observe “cooperation” in nature, it’s by mere emotional coincidence where organisms physically feel a simultaneous urge to cooperate (or at least have a common predator, threat, or obstacle to overcome in cooperating against).
A developmental necessity more than a miracle perhaps, but one that is constantly abused… like any other human furtherment tool… and the miracle becomes an obstacle in my eyes.
Daktoria, I usually avoid your threads because of lead-ins such as what I’ve underlined above. Your opening statements could be a total fabrication on your part just to get replies that keep you somehow connected with–What?
That language should never have happened, assumes, as you put it, that organisms have no need for cooperation and/or communication. This is really complete nonsense! Yet you present it as fact without corroboration as you do all your OPs.
I really have to go back to not paying any attention to you. I find your topics to be silly, meaning shallow and fruitless.
