philosophers engage in arguments using rules of logic. They dismiss some arguments that dont fit the (established) criteria. one may wonder if it is logically possible to always come up with (logically) sound discussions; and that if such a task is far-fetched, whether philosophical discussions are of any substance.
Logically speaking, one doesn’t always have to come up with logically sound discussions for discussions to have any value. That we sometimes do (and that the logical conclusions are somewhere recorded) can serve as a ratcheting mechanism to continually improve the state of the discussions.
Ignorent/stupid people will not comprehend perfect logic, i have had several warnings for making very simple logical claims.
Even intelligent people will be blind to perfect logic if it’s a harsh attack on their values, then their psychotic side will be provoked, and they lose all logic and reason.
But yes, logic perfection is possible, it happens all the time.
