I’ve heard this promoted by some women and Christians and Muslims promote this that male sexuality is naturally evil and if you look at a woman with sexual thoughts even if you don’t do anything that that is the same as rape but the question remains is that true is having sexual thoughts for random women and sexual feelings for random women really evil even all by themselves without any actions ?
No. Things like the sexual drive are not evil. Evil only applies to chosen actions. It would be silly to say that a river rock is evil, but if I pick one up and bash somebody in the head with it, assuming he hasn’t attacked me, it is an evil action with the rock. The key distinction is the natural vs. the manmade. Natural things like disease, storms, wildfires, tsunamis, etc. are not evil. They are bad and have bad effects on life, but they aren’t evil.
It’s evil. That’s what God says in the Bible. It’s called lust.
Even more reason for men to reject the Bible since you just came out and said that it’s written from a female centered lens.
Evil only applies to choices, not actions.
That’s why natural things cannot be evil: they are not choices
@starfire87 how come the desire to procreate and have a family is, too, wanted by god to say, Abraham? You cannot be fruitful without it
No it isnt. Has the bible not taught you that women are the source of all evil?
Most species breed. If it was evil we would all be evil. Which is a Christian hate philosophy.
That’s what religiosity causes to normal people: if the scripture or the priests say so, the brain should stop functioning.
Without male and female sexuality, the reproduction of our species will be at risk. How can we contemn as evil a natural, biological process? Animals are allowed to use their sexuality for attracting the opposite sex, but humans are not?
Religiosity goes as far as making people to hate or be ashamed of human body parts.
As far as I know, only religion acknowledges thought crimes. We are guilty for our thoughts, even if we do not transform them into actions.
After so much progress of the last 50-100 years on investigating the human brain, it should have been clear that we cannot consciously control all of our thoughts. Of course, dreams with sexual content are uncontrolable. Are we seriously discussing on 2026 condemnation of thoughts?
If you mean wantonly violent, then yes.
That’s what women like about it.
It’s a fine balance.

In a way yes the Bible teaches that if you’re a man and you feel sexual feelings for a woman that that is morally wrong there’s no debate about that that’s just what the New testament says in multiple places.
Oh yes but religious people believe that you can control your thoughts and even if they don’t believe you could control your thoughts they still believe it’s evil to think certain thoughts.
The sex drive exists. What and how you direct it determines what results you get from it. It is not good or evil…just a force. Express it too much and you will suffer the effects, express it too little and you will implode.
The sex drive is fundamentally a life-force, it sustains and promotes life. How you use it determines your life energy (your ability to do things).
Stop trying to get rid of the drive or complaining about it. Direct the drive and build or create from the tension you have. Many monastics in the east do not suppress it, they just redirect the energy of it.
In simple terms…use the energy and work, if you work more you will suffer less from it.
If you have to balance it constantly then it’s not good.
It teaches the same for woman, that being the case or not
Life is a process of balance. Best to learn it now or suffer much more later. I am not going to give you pleasant easy advice, I am giving you true hard learned advice so you will suffer less.
Do not waste your life trying to make your life a paradise in whatever form or degree you see fit. You think sex will make it wonderful, solve everything and there will be everlasting joy and rainbows in your life if you have it? Don’t lie to yourself.
I get it, the sex drive can be a nightmare at times…whether you satisify it or not. Best to learn to channel it effectively now. I hate to break it to you but sex will most likely not solve your problem.
But…
If you find a good woman, well good. If not and your single, that is also good.
The inconvenient truth for most people is that there is no right or wrong answer to these things. But there are consequences. And it is your choice as to whether or not you are willing to deal with the consequences.
I would recommend, and it is up to you whether or not you take the advice, that you try to balance the whole of your life out more. Often times the excessive desire of a thing, in your case sex, is a coping mechanism for something out of place in one’s life.
Bluntly speaking I think your obsession with sex is not a problem but rather a symptom of something else.
