Simple question what do you think?

In what respect?

i didn’t realize there was any question about it

It’s too cryptic, I’m making an early call of ‘what the ferk’.

I’m surely my own worst enemy.

In the respect that evolution wise we have caused much of the decimation of our won species and continue to do so like a virus.

If you like in this respect but I think the question is pretty self explanatory.

I don’t know the answer!

If the problem is death, we will die one way or another. Perhaps seeing death as a problem is a problem. So the enemy isn’t something that causes death, but something that causes us to see death as a problem.

Just thinking out loud… :-"

Well of course there is otherwise why did Hitler claim he was the ubermensche, and thus the Aryan race were special?

No to use an analogy The Elves never die in terms of old age at least inTolkiens Mythos and yet they seem to do much better.

If you see my drift?

Okay thanks for the clarification.

I think that since the beginning of civillization and the first govornments were formed humanity has been at risk from destroying itself. With advancements in technology, we face a very real chance of a nuclear war which could be possibly of real detriment to the world. Because of the abundance of power that humans have over every other species, I would say competitive spirit with this power is more dangerous than ever.

That’s just my basic ideas.

Yes and yet it pulls back from destroying itself? My question is why?

Maybe ultimate fear of destruction and death…that seems to hold off stupidity’s force and energy. Just give it time though…it might happen yet. Then we may have to choose what world to live in - the matrix or dystopia.

I didn’t really understand what you said there, to be honest.

That’s numberwang!

Rotate the board.

Oh ffs watch the film read the book, are you telling me you have never seen any fantasy film? :unamused: :stuck_out_tongue:

Probably a Harry Potter fan. j/k :imp:

Why? If we are this pointless why not kill ourselves and let The Planet of the Apes take over. Why keep flogging a dead horse? ](*,)

Wha? #-o

Calrid,

I didn’t say that we were pointless and the horse is not dead - it’s dragging a built-in survival instinct on the one side and the instinct to destroy ourselves on the other. It is a very tired and confused horse though. So we are both our own worst enemies and our saviours at the same time. Which genes will win out?

If you’re just going to post wha. Then maybe you shouldn’t post, just a suggestion but the only person making sense here is the person who argues a point and just doesn’t stand back and play Wigtenstein’s Scrabble until he provokes a response not to his liking. Make a point or don’t I care not! :unamused:
