Why is rome, where the pope lives gets so much attention? While,
Jerusalem famous but not that much of attention. Is it because of the Muslims?
My understanding it’s because of the Stone the church was built on.
That and the Pope vs. the other Patriarchs. In that contest for authority, you get the formation of the Catholic church. Guess who the most important spiritual figure is . . . why, the Patriarch of Rome! Who would have guessed that the other four don’t count!

I personally think its because Rome is where the pope resides. The leaders in Christianity can be likened to the ancient pharisees. They couldnt win against Jesus’ disciples taking over Judaism, so they joined them in Christianity, to retain power over the people. But this is the thing, they were still corrupt. They took over Chritianity, as priest, etc., and they feed off of the power. They use their power to control. They are esteemed as high, and as the leaders of the church, they recieve all kinds of praise and accolades and what not, and they live in Rome. I think Rome is Babylon. Search the papacy, and you will see all of them have been corrupt, and evil.
Holy James T. Chick man! You’re gonna have to support that statement!

lol thats funny. Check out this link…http://www.souldevice.org/fut_romebabylon.html
Because Rome is where the church began as a formal organization. Because Romans founded Christianity they’d never condier any other city to be greater in any facet than Rome. Jerusalem became an idealised city later during the crusades. Which was a Christian invasion, but to be fair the Muslems did conquer the area first.
Other four?
Explain please?
Hello?
Moshi moshi?
popes! there like the zcne of the world , come and go on the earth’s face.
If you read revelation description of “babylon”, it is obviously an important trade city. This description does not seem to apply to rome today. New York or Hong Kong would be a better guess. And “guess” is about the best we can do here.
