Would you agree or disagree that we would lose self-awareness (and other-awareness) if we had no body/face/look distinct from other bodies/faces/looks?
Would we use other ways of “seeing” to distinguish between our thoughts (or, the character of our thinking) and others’ thoughts (or, the character of their thinking)? How would we see them if we cannot see their actions because we cannot see their bodies? Some other effects/consequences/signs in the universe(‘s body)?
(Note to self: The universe’s body is always pregnant with other people or their ideas, as long as there have been and continue to be other people or their ideas, and the universe’s body.) (Don’t mind me.)
We are not beings who possess awareness — we are awareness itself, momentarily expressed through a physical form. This form, like all phenomena, is impermanent — a fleeting appearance, as real in the moment as it is illusory in essence. All that we attach to this temporary vessel — identity, emotions, joys, and sorrows — will dissolve, leaving behind only the echoes of experience and the lessons drawn from them. When the body falls away, it is not the loss of who we are, but merely the passing of what we briefly inhabited
Why would identity (self-awareness) pass when the body passes, and not awareness?
But if not awareness (“seeing”)… why not self-awareness (the “seeing thing”)? If we stop seeing the self/other (if there stops being “seeing things”) when we stop seeing the bodies/universe, what/how do not-we… see?

Hi there Cody, I had to attend to real life. I’m back for a bit.
Please understand that your argument about peppers is a logical fallacy. Evolution isn’t a conscious process, it is predicated on nature. Theists can proclaim such things as they are talking about God whether he exists or not. Atheists cannot proclaim it as they are talking about Nature always.
From my handlist, l think l got it off Wikipedia:
Reification (concretism, hypostatisation, or the fallacy of misplaced concreteness) – treating an abstract belief or hypothetical construct as if it were a concrete, real event or physical entity (e.g.: saying that evolution selects which traits are passed on to future generations; evolution is not a conscious entity with agency).

Cody how about this:
There are no longer dragons, because after the 4th dragon war, capsaicin was produced by a species of plants and this caused fires to erupt prematurely in the bellies of dragons. And thus the humble pepper plant survived, and the dragons that were destroying entire ecosystems and turning castle walls into damn glass, were banished forever and ever.
Nature protecting itself, no? That’s evolution for ya.
Science says otherwise. Please be scientific about all these inferences ny friend.
