From MK-ULTRA to The Iran Contra Scandals, is it justified to have such a secret orginization above the law?
How is the CIA not a terrorist orginization? It obviously has no morals when there is a means to an end by any means possible. If the congress is out of the loop, so are the people- and is it good to not be able to know what the government is doing? Of course, there should be secrets when it comes to some things, but inciting wars and putting puppet leaders in power for our benefit isn’t very moral in my opinion.
I’m sure there are many more inhumane acts they do. I don’t know if re-selling confiscated drugs to drug dealers is considered inhiumane, but lacing unwitting people’s drinks with LSD is pretty close.
They , the CIA, FBI, ICE, NSA, etc… They are all big brother and criminal. The Jurisdictions of the agencies is vague at best. They can come to your home today and remove you without notifying anyone. All because they feel justified. You are suddenly a missing person and no one will say a thing. Think about the sattelites that can zoom in on your home and take pictures… But, to be fair;
All govt’s do this not just ours. Heck for that matter a foriegn Gov’t with or without the permission of our Gov’t can turn you into a missing person. Makes Anarchy look pretty good in comparision. I would rather deal with petty warlords then big brother.
I have no idea where you guys got all of your information. But the CIA, FBI, ICE, and NSA along with many other government agencies. Aren’t all classified in the same category with the same functions. And not one of them is above the law. The CIA deals with foreign intelligence, FBI is a domestic security bureau, ICE deals with immigration and customs. NSA deals with cryptology. All of these serve the needs of the common citizen. Whether you want to see or hear about that guy that is being “tortured”. Someone’s got to do it. Or the next flight your mother, wife, or kid takes will be blown up. Yet another cause, to criticize the government, again. You want no one to be hurt and no one to get hurt. But the world doesn’t function like that. Everything is not perfect and it is not going to be. Someone is going to get hurt and someone will get hurt. Whether it is you or them. This may come as a surprise to alot of you but, the U.S., isn’t the only country who has intelligence agencies. And contrary to what you might think there are a whole lot of people who want to hurt you. more than you think the american government ever will. If these agencies shut down America shuts down. These people do all kinds of things that you never would imagine. More than you see or ever will see in the media or spoken about by a politician!
yes they do the occasional good thing, I think no one here would dispute that.
They are not above the law but, they sure seem to think they are and act like they are. No one watches the watchers. When the watchers are allowed to watch themselves corruption happens.
We the people are supposed to be the watchers of the watchers , but we the people had the power to watch removed from us by our own trust, gullibility and apathy. Now the watchers have free reign. When we the people cannot freely speak of dissension, where do we the people stand?
Our Gov’t watches us and removes us when we speak of rebellion and dissension. Is this the land of the free and the home of the brave anymore? No, we are broken. People are arrested now for mere words. Is this just? Is this right? Is this the future that we want for our children? I don’t wish it. My family has served the U.S.A. constitution for generations. My parent’s generation and mine are seeing it raped by the watchers, because, we the people became fat, lazy and gullible.
When I was a teenager a group of my friends and myself would always put LSD into each other’s drinks when we weren’t expecting it. This one guy in particular would put LOTS so after getting hit by him a few times I got him back really good with about 20 drops then never drank anything from his house that didn’t come out of a can again.
But seriously, we did this all the time. Acid’s not so bad once you get used to it.
I think LSD had a bigger part in the development of my psychology than just about any other factor in my life. I did that stuff almost continuously for about 8 years or something.
If I told people what I actually believe and experience, I would likely be labeled as clinically insane.
That however, in no way invalidates my claims. Most people here couldn’t find their own sense of intuition and higher knowledge, let alone the real world. The dancer only appears crazy to those who are unable to hear the music.
