# Is the psychical world true and if so is this it?

Assuming that the supernatural doesn’t exist is the physical world just the things you can touch with your hands ? Is there anything beyond things you can touch with your hands ?

I think you can probably come up with things you can’t touch with your hands that you think are real, right?

When you say is what it what are you asking ? And no if I can’t touch something then it is not real.

So, my words are real because they’re on a screen. Not that you can actually touch them, but I’m not real to you. And stars aren’t real, and China isn’t real. The core of the Earth isn’t real. Stars aren’t real. The cold, highly pressured water at the bottom of the Mariana’s Trench is not real. Ultraviolet light is not real. Is your spleen real? How about the ozone layer? How about Brad Pitt? Are you able to touch a shadow? What counts as a touch? Do you have to feel it, or does it sort of look like your hand is in the same place?
I didn’t understand the first question above.

But then they can’t exist. I think you need to work out a compromise with The\_Emotion.
What you will do about your brain, however, I’m not sure.

If this were 2004, you would be able to find a 20 second 120p clip of Morpheus saying “what _is_ real? Is it what you can hear, what you can see, what you can touch? If so, real is nothing but a series of electrical signals interpreted by your brain.”
But it isn’t, and you can’t.
