i uh, dunno about this one. i got an account here, then never came back!
i word of advice. if you were wanting to play chess with ILP members in there, you should keep your ILP name.could turn a few heads.
i never visit those sites anymore though.chess is too intense for my burnt out mind. insidently, when i still hung around there,my nick name was
The Dandy Man.i always went by that nick name.or waryants of it.
i personally like yahoo. and i am a chess master.
Chessmaster Monooq huh?
I play too slow for most people’s tastes, but if there’s anyone who’d like to go about 1 move every 30 minutes (from mid-game onwards), I’ll fight you. Slow and steady wins the race…

Chess isn’t my game, but another forum posted this link for playing:
Don’t know what it’s like, and unlikely to find out
Yes, I know that strategy. It’s called ‘pissing off your oponent until he/she has a fit of rage and leaves the table infuriated’. Or, until he/she has to go to the bathroom and you are left alone with nothing better to do than just, say, move a few pieces from their place…
I’ve been playing some chess lately.
The program I’ve downloaded seems to NEVER make mistakes - or, if it does, I’m nowhere near good enough to recognize them. I’m something like 0-25 since downloading. I’m so frustrated, I’m about to give up. Indeed, perhaps I already have.
Anyways …
Uzi, welcome to ‘the chessmaster’. the old sunuva gun never loses. some programmer cracked chess somehow. i’ve used it to beat chess players online by watching duel boards.the only problem with this is the time limit on the game. i wasn’t imputing moves fast enough. i have a similar program though. what was your called?
yea, well… chess is about playing on general principles and intuition… not thinking 15 moves in advance (which is practically impossible anyways). so you wanting 30 minutes a move is …well, i’m not sure what to think about that… but that is slower than a world championship clock game.
so yea… i’ll match you anytime…
Haha I did not mean to imply that I am some kind of ‘chessmaster’ (ahem). I am slow because otherwise I lose.

James
its the sort of obvious exaggeration i would make.
i usually play 5 or 10 minute games
I’m a little reluctant to say in the event such information would expose me as a complete failue … lol
It’s Soft Chess version 1.0
