Sometimes I just feel like heading into the woods and living there.
Yes, I’ve heard this too.
Try before you buy, man.

A convoy drives through UK streets yelling 'F*** the Jews. F*** their mothers, rape their daughters, - charges dropped A 61 year old man shouts ‘Who the fuck is Allah’ at demonstration in London - sentenced to 18 mths in prison.
would be far more interesting if, instead of just repeating words from the picture you just posted, which we can already read, you posted a link about the incident or something. No idea why you thought it would be useful for the readers of this forum to read that text twice…
The dude plead guilty to violent disorder. I doubt him shouting “fuck allah” was the whole story there…

The copy/pasted text is for Maia’s benefit… I’m uncertain if her computer software can read image text.
Does it breach board rules?

Rapists and paedophiles don’t get much more prison time than that, if any…

A 61-year-old man made threatening gestures at police and chanted “who the f*** is Allah” during large-scale disorder in Whitehall has been jailed for 18 months.
David Spring, of Longfellow Road in Sutton, was part of a group who confronted police officers during a gathering of around 700 people near Downing Street on July 31.
Spring pleaded guilty to violent disorder after footage showed him at the forefront of the crowd while threatening and chanting at officers.

He didn’t actually commit any physical criminal acts…
Very thoughtful of you, but the image didn’t add anything then.
No idea why you’re rambling about unrelated stuff. The dude didn’t get in trouble for saying fuck Allah, that looks like misinformation to me.
Thank you, I appreciate it. My screenreader just says “image” when there’s an image.
Diddums!

…and you can’t seem to follow an evolving conversation.
You can’t seem to stay on a topic for long enough to say anything meaningful about it. Seems like you would prefer to evolve it away from scrutiny.
How do you know it’s not a devolving conversation? And how do you know it’s constructive scrutiny?
If you don’t think researching claims about important issues like free speech is constructive, you’re certainly welcome to explain why.

Vigilante Muslims wielding weapons being left to their own devices Vs British men angrily expressing their anger at a biased and divisive political system where their concerns mean nothing.
I’ve been listening to a YouTube channel name Mahyar Tousi TV a fair bit lately, who gives independent news of what’s been going on. I’ve never owned an actual TV, and, with all the lies being put out by the mainstream media, that has probably turned out to be a very good thing.
I think it’s good to research rather than accepting the way someone is framing something. You didn’t really say anything after you posted the link. What are your thoughts? Do you think MagsJ is doing what Satyr used to do?
MagsJ responded:
You should read the entire post and respond to that. But you went on to do other stuff instead. It wasn’t very constructive at all.
Pralines and cream vs cookie dough.
Why are we just saying one thing vs another thing? What does that mean?
I very explicitly said something. I said I don’t think the story given by Magsj was the full story. He pled guilty, not to saying that silly thing, but to violent disorder.
I have no idea what Satyr used to do, nor do I see the relevance.
Magsj implied this guy is getting in legal trouble because he said who the fuck is allah. That doesn’t seem to be the case. I’m not being subtle about thinking that doesn’t seem to be the case. I said it.
Most of the post isn’t about if it’s true that the guy is getting in legal trouble for the reasons she said. It’s meandering and weird. I don’t want to talk about a billion different things, I care about this thing: if she’s correct that he’s getting in legal trouble for saying that, there’s a huge issue in the UK re: freedom of speech. If she’s incorrect about that, there’s a huge issue in her brain about how over-willing she is to accept facts from twitter. All of the other stuff she ranted about is not relevant.
She responded to you when you said that — you should respond to her.
