My title is debateably correct… a stereotype, but I doubt it was a bunch of gay log cabin Republicans in the club all night long.

So… will the gay community now continue to support Hillary unabashed, reading “Poems from Guantanamo” and quoting Chomsky and Gore Vidal… or are they going to realize she has absolutely none of their core priorities at heart… I’m not talking completely bullshit topics like gay marriage or granny toilet rights, I’m talking survival now.

They did this for obvious reasons. Most people don’t like male homosexuality, it is purely hedonistic and is linked to drugs and disease. Yes, everyone gets the humanistic explanations, and the cries for existentialism… most everyone is going to treat you as “human” but we still will always be uneasy and largely disapproving. Just a fact of life.

Radical Muslims have a lot of pressure on them… they look around and feel nothing is going right, and need something to lash out against. They feel the tug of war between identifying as a regular person, and a Jihadi for Muhammad’s peace. Shooting the fuck out of a gay bar is in many ways a great cognitive compromise… yes, they are killing, but only the most obviously guilty, who society can most easily afford to lose. They are gay, and gays tend not to reproduce (I’m sure a few had kids in this case) and just don’t give a fuck anymore, do drugs and have a anti-drug agenda. Your not risking killing the pious, or the innocent or good everyday people. It is a grand compromise of stereotypes and a sense of right and wrong.

Now… I do know many Christian gays in monogamous relations, married for years (not a church wedding), active for a number of years in the Catholic Church. I doubt they use drugs, or go out all night partying and spreading disease… they wouldn’t stand out… but I’m emphasizing the above to highlight the cognitive effect I believe this gunman was targeting.

He is very likely to get copy cat killers for sometime who see the greater highlights of this compromise, who were borderline but couldn’t rationalize a mass killing. Very few people want to kill kids, parents, or spouses… especially neighbors.

Homosexual bars is the default existential “other”. They by default stir feelings of disgust and disturbance in straight guys. This is natural and instinctive, and not learned… we just don’t like it.

It is odd, seeing how widespread male homosexuality in Iraq was, despite being banned… they are the most repressive against it, yet the most embrasive of any culture. I think a double standard would be occurring if this guy comes from the old world, but a shooter not brought up in that sort of Islam would only know it’s book teachings, from a water down, intellectually oriented mosque in the US. It might repulse him that much more.

This is my speculation on the attack.

Question isn’t to argue my speculation with a liberal “you mustn’t think that way” because I don’t. I can try to get into their heads,.and this seems the most likely reason and direction… it is a grand compromise to encourage copycat killings.

Nothing whatsoever in the Democratic platform can stop this. Even if you took guns completely off the street, paintball guns can be printed with very similar component parts and modified… we will never be able to sweep away terrorism and violence this way, and states that have will discover over the next few dacaded they built their house on the sands… they won’t have any antibodies for handing gun violence.

Dialogue sure the Fuck doesn’t work on people like this. Saying on TV “Islam means peace” and how great Queen Rani looks, or how you shouldn’t use the “T Word” isn’t going to do diddly squat to turn them… if they want to kill us, pointless liberal language games aren’t going to sway them.

Under the current calculas, homosexuals are the just cause attack any on the edge of committing radical can embrace. Consider this out new default… who are they gays going to support? Hillary… who deep down inside doesn’t give a Fuck about them beyond their vote, or Trump… who had to rebuild the world trade center, doesn’t like radical Islam at all, and wants the shit stomped out at all cost. He might be or not be on board for your existential desires to be recognized forceably by all as gay yet normal, married in law, or whatever sex you assign yourself, but he is definitely on board fucking the world of terrorists like this up, in a very nasty way. Are you opposed to survival? To the guy who has your back in your scariest moments… who you know will go out and tackle the problem immediately, with a vengence, unlike a certain other candidate?

I would choose the guy wanting to key me alive as president. Such a person would be my best friend… I would never cease to be thankful. Honestly, fuck terrorism.

Trixie, of your reading this, I recommend you and your buddies in high heels head out and apply for concealed weapons permits and NRA Membership. Hillary isn’t looking out for you. This guy wouldn’t of killed this many even if he was in full body armor… someone could of taken him out or substantially wound him. Nobody was armed!

It was horrifying watching various other social hubs delete comments and ban people from pointing out the attack was related to Islam. It’s going to be like cologne all over again. Watch for reports of people being banned off Facebook and Twitter left and right for calling a spade a spade after this.

Eagerly awaiting a statement from Hillbama condemning islamophobia and blaming guns.

I hate to say this, but I think there is a second gunner.

I’m going over the reports kill-hit ratio: this time of night they only had about 100 people. He shot 100, 50 of them died.

AR-15s are the dumbed down version of the M4… big difference is no automatic continuous fire… for someone like me, no issue, US Infantry rarely use that setting, and I can fix it. But this setting wouldn’t result in this amount of killing.

Reason I can state this, is in a attack like this, once you enter into a room, you start shooting, your pumping out 5.56 rounds (small) that are precise… it isn’t a Uzi like machine guns spray.

People’s instincts are Fight or Flight…dummy like me goes instinctively into fight… throwing chairs or tackling… it isn’t bravery, it is instinct, I’ve done stupid shit enough to know it is over prior to me thinking about it… in mass shootings, you get a guy like this, but a AR-15 in skilled hands can admittedly clobber me even in full leap… vast majority of people drop or scatter… they find egress and cover and move… this club’s path to a rear exit was opened by a very considerate bouncer… I’m hoping he gets a medal for that, even if he died, good duty until the end, civilians can get the purple heart, he deserves it if wounded or killed.

You got 1 minute to get your kills in till all you have are stragglers. If he had military ammoclips, that is 20 rounds per rifle. Ask Smears about the availibilty of these mags, I don’t know how easy they are to get, I usually see AR-15 s with much smaller clips, like 10.

If you filled up a place with 100 dummies, and told me to sink 100 bullets, 50 of them kill shots, in under a minute, switching out those mags, I would have issues. He had screaming, running targets… even with a awesome vantage point, he is going to have difficulty.

He didn’t escape out the back, he took prisoners. I’m wondering if he licked the back door in advanced, blocked it? The reports keep saying “They are coming” not “he”.

This is not a impossible kill ratio, I could pull it off, but only if I did serious beforehand scouting, like multiple visits, locked it down, and took up one hell of a position. Idiot tried leaving out the front, went back in for hostages (odd)… why not the back?

Reports are weird. This guy was a measily security guard, but he is making SF grade kills. It isn’t the rifle, it isn’t luck… he either had a second gunman, or planned this like Napoleon… other shooters never get this absurdly high kill rate.

Something like this could never have happened in Paris where they have tough gun laws.

If we keep guns out of the hands of everybody then there will be less shootings and we can make people better understand how diversity is a strength.

If we lobotomise everybody then there will be no more racism. This has been proven in scientific studies.

Hate to say this but democracy is imploding, an Imam based in US stated gays should be euthanized, and another group claimed that a US with a sharia law is preferable to freedom

Interestingly this os the Achilles heel pf democracy, imagine a US citizen in the middle east speaking in such manner.

I am a gun owner. Maybe i’d like to own a functional tank. But I can’t. Or a rocket launcher. Can’t do that either. Because these are military weapons. An AR is designed, even without the capability to fire on auto, as a military weapon. It’s not a very good hunting rifle - there are surely better designs - and it sucks at self-defense - it’s just too big and heavy to carry around. But even as a semi-auto, it fires fast. Fast enough to kill a lot of people in a short time.

Civilians can live without them, just like they can live without certain other weapons that are banned for civilian use now.

This guy was another nutball, inspired by but evidently, so far a we know, not connected to radical Islamist groups. This is not international terrorism, is just murder.

This OP and most of the ensuing posts are just inane right wing propaganda because at this point nobody knows who this guy was, what his intentions were, or even whether he acted alone. He was muslim, and muslims don’t like gay people, so that was probably a factor. Whether he was part of some Islamist terrorist group remains to be seen. What we know is that he (and possibly one other person) managed to shoot and kill 50 people. That’s a lot for one or two gunmen, even in a crowded club. Certainly the weapons he used are a factor in how many people he was, or they were, capable of killing in that amount of time. It certainly helped that they had high grade killing machines at their disposal.

Tho the guilt is different between denominations, even among the Abrahamic religions. Catholics feel guilty for just wanting to do things they shouldn’t, Jews don’t suffer that particular neurosis at all. i don’t know about Muslims.

He called 911 and claimed he was doing this out of loyalty to ISIS, ISIS claimed credit for the attack, and the shooter was on an FBI watchlist because of his contact with ISIS…but yeah, let’s not jump to conclusions. Clearly this has nothing to do with terorrism, it’s a gun control issue.

Okay, I found it. I’m a little skeptical, but here’s an idea - let’s eliminate ISIS! Should be easy enough. Then, there’s the next Muslim military group. And the next. And the next.

The identity of the attacker was known prior to me posting, I was monitoring it all night, started as a minor disturbance on the news and kept going, so what UPF posted is a lie.

And yes, you can own military grade weapons, including a functional tank, and even drive the tank on roads. We have lots of militias owning their own tanks in the US.

While I can shoot a M4 one handed, I can’t do it for long… muzzle is going all over the place, and it is a precision weapon.

I’m reading 320 people were in there, vs 100. If 100… absurd. If lots more, more reasonable. However… I’m not much for nightclubs, but have been in them… 320 for your average space… you may have some fire marshal issues. I suppose if he came in, started shooting, then everyone bolted for the opposite exits… if he just concentrated fire in on vortex/door… you could consistently maintain a very high kill rate. But it wouldn’t be anything special about the AR-15, as pistols could do this too, with a large enough mag… it’s all about having the steady discipline of being able to immediately drop a empty mag, reload, and shoot.

And no, the AR-15 is awesome, absolutely awesome, in MOUT. I’ve come out several times stating it was a piece of shit, compared to the M-14, but I will state from experience using it at Victorsville, California you can do some wicked maneuvers with it in a melee. I was stuck using a M4 with him rounds, for a week pretending to be Iraqi in a abandoned air force base with a few others while every company in my battalion took turns assaulting us, day and night… same neighborhood, groundhogs day battles over and over in different rooms. Needless to say I got very a depth and inventive as the week wore on. It takes corners wonderfully when you pie corners, and shoots when you point and pull the trigger. After a while, I got a second sense and was shooting off the hip… a big no-no I was cursed out over, but found it worked well enough close range. As long as the fuvking thing doesn’t jam… I believe SPORTS works on a AR-15, but he only had it for a week… low familiarity with the weapon. He just got lucky it didn’t Fuck up or needed adjustments. Did he even zero it? Doubtful… just used it close range and assumed it would hit well enough.

I strongly recommend gays start arming themselves. This means you Trixie, you Manni since you hang with them. Follow UPF and you’ll just die.

Just about any magazine or chain linked feed weapon could pull off the number of shots required. It comes down to magazine size, and all a magazine is, is a cartridge with springs inside… if you buy springs, you can make them from scratch. I don’t see a classical liberal solution to this, of banning, because it does absolutely nothing to help. Especially today where a 3-D printer is under $200 dollars. It would make it harder for your unskilled impulse buyers… but this guy wasn’t that far off from that… he only owned it for one week, and we have plastic AR-15 equivalents on the market already that are meant for paintball, that can be modified to shoot real bullets. These are going to keep getting better and better as more enthusiasts get involved wanting more and more realistic paintball guns… you would rapidly speed the development if you tried to ban everything, people naturally would switch over like during the prohibition, alcohol went underground. You can easily thread the inside of a plastic, heat resistant barrel… people aren’t to this point yet because they haven’t had to put hybrid plastics together yet like this as there isn’t a demand, but I guarantee you there will be one if you just go ban happy… we have ovens designed for household plastic printer printers for $400 that can recycle a variety of plastics… tech is all there. Nothing sci-fi, just no artificially produced demand to do this as decent guns can already he aquired, and the set up is near $800 US to get a printer, oven recycled, and plastic threaded capable of doing all three tasks… I can just buy a really awesome paintball gun for less, or a bonafide AR-15 for a bit more.

But honestly, that gun is a joke. It comes down to this guy really knowing what he was doing game plan wise.
