As far as I am aware Iran hasn’t sneaked into the US and tortured, raped and murdered American men, women and children, or used its own people as human shields to garner sympathy.

These are highly coordinated and precise strikes, meaning every target is intentional. Between Israel and US, only Israel has motive to specifically target civilian targets, and grade schools at that. And the motive is, to ENSURE USA gets bogged down in war and retaliatory strikes. By targeting women and children specifically, Iran’s military leadership is to blame for their lack of defense of their people.
It’s an insurance policy for guaranteed warfare.

I find the American Government State-system too loosely structured, causing an inhomogeneity across the board, leading to an easy path to mismanagement and embezzlement.

That’s actually bullshit. They were persecuted whether or not they followed the religion, or any religion for that matter. Many of those murdered by the Nazis had been christian for generations and only discovered they had Jewish ancestry when they were forced to produce family records.
