James Bond & Christ

.

.

Brothers, apparently. (Well HALF-brothers at least  )

since when did christ smoke?

-Imp

Hello F(r)iends,

Imp, it was sometime after he faked his death and fled to France with Mary Magdalane and his daugther.

{or so some legends would have you believe}

-Thirst

In that scene James is Gambling, while Jesus was always gambling!

James thinks that he plays for high stakes, while Jesus payed for the highest stakes of all.

Thus James bond follows from Jesus’ example.

I don’t remember Monte Carlo being mentioned in the Bible. I’ll check again, of course, but I don’t expect to find it…

The point is that there are 4 major Christ cinematic depictions to 25 Bond depictions. On the most prominent available meter Bond wins out…

Christ wasn’t white

OG,

Then what are people from the mid-east? From what I understand they are directly related to the Aryans. I don’t mean the Nazi superpeople, but the people from the Indus region that may have come from Russia.

If you look and the Sumarian pictures that I posted in the photo section you can see that the people that originally lived in Iraq had big blue eyes and looked like embracetrees, who is Russian.

Ok… this is complicated.

Yes you’re right about the region, but we have to look to the bible for the real answer.

The Gospal of Mark was written long before any of the others. In Mark’s gospel, Joshua is not a god, and he is not even good. He says something like 'I am not good, only god is good, follow the commandments." in response to someone asking him how to live life. In Matthew’s gospel he becomes a god incarnate, born of a virgin. In John’s gospel he becomes the Greek ‘logos’ incarnate (the ‘word’ which was with God eternally, since before the world began.) This doctrine is not unique to Christianity, nor did it even originate with the church.

I hate to say it cause I’m named after the guy but Matthew was a nut. There is no mention of a virgin birth at all in Mark’s gospel… in fact he makes Christ out to be a Jewish radical, rather than any sort of savior or divine figure. When he wrote the gospel is was a load of propagandaish shit

Matthew was a fundamentalist nut, who held that the Torah was inerrant and infallible and so he introduces the notion of Christ being ‘pure bred’. In the gospel of John an angry crowd calls Jesus a ‘Samaritan’ which means like, half breed basically.

As the church was institutionalized by the Europeans, the WASPy long haired look was prevelant but only Nazarenes really had long hair… but they did not drink wine at all. And we know that Jesus drank all the time… it just doesn’t add up.

Jesus was born from David like we all know he was… and he was likely about my skin color.

That sounds like some black propaganda to me.

The Ethiopian people are the only black people in that area and even that aren’t 100% African looking. During that time it was not possible for North African to travel to southern parts of Africa due to the desert.

In the bible it says that Noah’s son got turned into a black person for being sinful. That’s the explanation for what black people are. I believe that Nimrod was a black king that was seen as the height of sin and that his symbol was an X and that’s the origin of the X rating for porn.

So, I doubt that if Jesus was a real person that he was had anything black about himself, as he would have been rejected.

If you are ever up for some chilling reading then look up what people of the mid-east thought about black people.

i love that jesus lengend… the one about him becoming a budhist monk and dying age 80 in tibet.

I’d say getting crucified was rejection enough.

I’m not saying Jesus was black… the Samaritans wern’t considered ‘pure’ jews, often they were of mixed lineage. And David was a 1st or second generation ‘mixed’ person, (if you look at the geneology he’s the son of some foregein woman, or the grandson… I forget) so jesus would have been fairly light… but still with some color, combined with the sun exposure… he would have looked about my complexion I think.

I once said to a black person that was religious, and thought that he was black, that I hoped that he was an albino just so that you would have to deal with it.

Gotten into the holiday rum a little early?

Yes, I had a German eggnog from Budapest and two ciders.

I really did say that though. I dislike the black and white tendency to want to see Jesus just like you. This was in response to getting a Christmas card from a coworker where Jesus and Mary were Black Africans in full black and orange African robes. I though to myself that these people don’t love Jesus, they love themselves. Jesus did not look like Robert Plant or Ving Raimes.

wah, i never thought about it that way…

alderian, i feel… hmmmm, enlightened it too strong a word, but intrigued? yeah thatll do. very intrigued.

DOL - what is with the pictures?
