Jesus, they nailed you

Jesus,
they nailed you
to damn hard to that cross

claiming to have overheard
what you said
claiming your last right

they never noticed the
simple story
you embodied

the simple
old wives
truth

you said simply
-in dying the
realisation
of what we
all had-
of great
Father Universe
and Great Mother
earth
ever residing
ever loving
ever torturing
to endure

they never acknowledge
the perpetual heaven
of this play park
of doom
and love
and losing
and whim

of the momentary
oneness of yawning

of the blessing of rest
in foxes doze

of the tangle of arms
and legs of lovers
together
skin to skin.

jesus,
they thought
on you too much

and now
i must competely
misunderstand you
so that you will
be understood
again in a light
that
embraces
the earth
as it is

(ok this is flimsy, as ever, but some decent ideas
thought i’d spill it on the forum. cheers)

I like it, this part being the climax:

Do you think I should end it there?

cheers.

If I had to say now I would just leave it, it is a clarification to your assertion.

I think the intention behind my original post was fueled by the fact that I just like how the highlighted part broke away from the dialogue feel towords a more vague, inner type of conceptual descriptor.

yes, those lines you highlighted are a bit out of place
but i do love the

‘momentary oneness of yawning’

there is a certain truth in that
in the ‘fullness of the action’

cheers gain, old gobbo.

Yeah, when I read ‘oneness of yawning’ I thought of that feeling you get when someone almost pushes you into a pool, or like… if you are looking over a high edge and someone pushes you jokingly.

Hello F(r)iends,

This is one of the few poems that I have ever enjoyed (I just don’t get poetry). However, this one struck a chord. It made me wonder if people who profess to love Jesus ever understood that his acceptance of his fate may have been a sign that murder, hatred, fear, violence and all the rest are unnecessary. His murder could serve as a sign of how truly wasteful it is to murder. If only we could get past our nature to actually do as Christ taught/wanted… We can’t though, that’s for sure. I for one, embrace out nature…
