That’s not necessarily so. All trauma as inherited is absolutely reactive to the attempt to categorize in terms of the intended propensity to simplify trauma to its basic situation.

That primary concern with such action may be inherited, or learned, where the later may overcome the former’s fractured analytic preoccupations, by further occurring but less explosive breaks along the way.

Such fragility may contain reserves of vital energy, which may diminish the use of such conventional wisdom by decontrolling the use of that energy for the use of social fragmentation. Reversely , disarraying for most, to benefit the least.

Well what’s interesting here is that oversheltering is very often a sign of sexual abuse. The abusive parents, in an effort to subconsciously “make up” for the horror, but also simply to silence the child, overshelter. There is also that sexual abuse is a private act, the abuser feels even more privacy about it than a normal person does sex. So fostering an oversheltered atmosphere is also just a natural extension of the atmosphere that a pedophile thrives on.

It’s also not illogical, though you didn’t directly say this, to suggest that childhood sexual abuse could find a genetic anchor. If the parents are the perpetrators, which they usually are, then any genes they pass on easily could suggest a propensity for being raped by one’s parents. Problems like this are unfailingly transgenerational. You did it because they did it to you, etc.

On the other hand, genes are only ever part of the story. If a person with the “autism” gene never suffers trauma, probably he never develops autism, or at least completely. Same with every other possible traumatic reaction.

If you haven’t already, you should read Dawkins’ Selfish Gene.

A “gene” is not necessarily a discrete block of code. It is simply whatever combination in whatever order in DNA that can be tied to a given biological phenomenon.

Sheltering atrophies…so that events that could have been endured, shatter the psyche.

A muscle that has only experienced ease will break when a heavy mass is forced upon it…whereas a muscle that has gradually built up its strength, through its habituation with mass, will endure a weight that breaks a sheltered fragile man-child.

Modern societies shelter men…so that the slightest hint of nature’s brutality and justices, forces them to flee…accusing anyone who exposes them to ti of being a fascist…

They are indirectly calling nature fascistic, because they cannot imagine any environment other than the regimented sheltering manmade environments that has comfortably numbed them into complacency.

Imagine we could return to the past…Nazis?

Ancient Spartans and the Norse were far worse… Ghenghis Khan was worse than Hitler…

The colonists exterminated almost all of the natives in the Americas…but you never hear about that.

For them the term ‘nature’ evokes imagery of nice parks with lakes…Sanitized nature.

They prefer discussing how things “ought to be”…because they still feel incapable of dealing with reality.

The world is either too much to handle, for some, or not enough…to justify their suffering.

I’m saying trauma is relative to the individual’s constitution and its cultivation over time.

A transsexual will be traumatized when he goes to buy cigarettes and is misgendered…whereas nobody speaks of the boy who lives in an apartheid state, under a supremacist dogma, treated like an animal all his life, and then has his family slaughtered and his home destroyed.

What about that trauma?

I read ‘Logo therapy’ some time ago, and he follows meaning as did those involved with the positive school. Young babies can definitely no able to differentiate mom from himself, so the why of many questions conducing to identity, identification, can’t ever be determined on that level, denied, yes, and that goes a long way from de-particularization of Thou self from the i(eye)

Failing on that platform, reduces his potential to ever see and integrate the big picture.

This is wrong.

A transsexual is, by virtue of being a transsexual, already a traumatized individual. Throwing a hissy fit over imagined slights is part of, not the source of, the pathology.

Just ask any South African from that time or Jewish person from 30’s Germany. The answer is it depends on the individual, but they will all have pathologies, no question.

What about the trauma of a 10 year old Semite, in Palestine…his parents dead, his siblings dead or crippled…his home destroyed…and all this after 40 years of apartheid?
