Been clearing an office in the house - commandeered back in the eighties. Hundreds of mainly self-indulgent ‘poems’ and short stories.
Found this one and wondered if anyone remembered the controversial figure that was Raphael.

I am not sure what e-mail address you have, so I can’t
be sure… As for health, I hear you there… every day is
another betrayal of my body in some form or another…
there is so much to look forward to as I grow older… .
as far as those on KDH, I haven’t heard from any of them
outside of you… and Raphael, I haven’t given him any thought
in 25 years… but he was a pathological liar, so there is that…
I hope is well in your neck of the woods…
both kids and grandkids are doing well I hope…
anyway, thanks for remembering me… few do these days…
