I have a topic that I hope will bring discussion. All through history people have rebelled against Kings and Rulers. My question is if this opposition runs through us why have people not rebelled against this ultimate King, or God per say?
Yes, God was brilliant to defend Elisha’s pride because he was offended when children called him ‘bald-head’.
Elisha’s embarrassment of balding was more important than THE LIVES of 42 innocent children.
Having bears maul 42 children seems like reasonable retribution for calling a bald man bald.
I don’t think God nor Elisha were into free speech.
Today, they’d both be given the death penalty for killing 42 children just for words they said! God and Elisha are total f**king douche bags!
II Kings 2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 2:24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
What if HE-MAN and SHE-RA made a baby!? Wouldn’t that be RAD!?
They could have two and call them Cain and Abel. Cain would definitely fuck things up, rebel and take over. Good for him!
The rebels that defeat the tyrants become the new tyrants and the process repeats itself.
If God existed, we killed him long ago and have made ourselves gods… only to be killed and replaced by the next bunch of assholes.
