Today, July 5th is my wife and I, 30-year anniversary…
and we are literarily doing nothing today… and I am
good with that… and what does it feel like being married
for 30 years? actually, pretty good… what really makes it
all right is the comfort level one gets with a partner that’s been
there for 30 plus years… we dated for 4 years before we got
married… and I am ok with another 30 years of marriage, of
course that will make me 97 years old, I am pretty sure I don’t
want to live that long… but details, details…

Congratulations to the two of you, on the occasion of your pearl wedding anniversary.
PK, you just have time to pop out and purchase something pearl related.

Pearl, really, I had no idea… all I gave her was a nice card…
it sucks being retired and having no money…

going to help you find someone…

Actually I’m amazed that anyone has bothered to get married in recent decades. It has always been a financial arrangement, to sell off ‘worthless’ daughters. Why would anyone think that way these days? I have never believed in marriage. All I see is 'Oh, I would have to take on all of that person’s debts and it would be a fucking mission and nuisance to get out of if it turns out to be one of the 99 percent of marriages that end in divorce (with the rest being two people who hate each other but stay together for the ‘achievement’). Nothing wrong with just living together and remaining independent.

And why do American films and TV shows always depict women as DESPERATE to get married and practically wetting themselves when some loser FINALLY gives in and asks them to (in the most embarrassing way imaginable)? It’s bloody pathetic. MEN are the ones who get the most out of marriage. They get a lifelong unpaid servant and future caregiver (for when they get dementia and all the other illnesses that men far outnumber women on). Fuck marriage.

Actually why even live together? Have separate homes. That way you don’t have to put up with his farting and burping and constant crumbs and mess he leaves for you. You will even get a good night’s sleep, because you won’t have to put up with his disgusting snoring that makes you just want to put a pillow over his stupid face to end the misery.
