Latin, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean

I am going to learn Latin, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean starting right now.

I already know a good amount of French.

I need ONE person to learn with me so we can teach other. You must be willing to devote time to this with me. You need a mic or video cam for your computer. We will learn how to write, speak, and listen to these languages. I don’t really care the order in which we learn them in; I prefer German first.

If anybody wants to do this with me, and seriously-willing to devote hours-upon-hours of your time, then send me a private message.

First-come, first-serve basis. And I plan to be learning these languages for years. So think about it before you answer me.

How are you going to do it? Books? Software? Audio tapes & CD’s?

I’m attempting to learn Korean, I just have a problem with laziness so I won’t be dedicating myself to anything but I’ll be happy open a dialogue with you concerning said language. For what reason do you want to study Korean…or any of the other languages for that matter? Also if i remember correctly Wonderer was studying Mandarin…

You’d need a savantine memory to do that, Realun! My advice: just do one, e.g. German.

I plan on reading foreign text online, write it in forums with foreign speakers, and speak & listen verbally through Skype online.

Maybe I do have a savantine memory… :-$

Get the rosetta stone. Trying to learn other languages without it is dumb.

I can’t afford it; do you know a guy?

Rosetta is good for vocab but it won’t be sufficient by itself…

I know.

What about language classes?

Language exchange? You meet up with a Korean or whatever to help them with their English in exchange for help with Korean…

If so, you should learn Ancient Greek too
