Trust me im never the doomer but these days politics is thrust onto us and our (yes i believe in ultimate moral truths) opinions on serious things are far too polarised and general political opinions or preferences are based on complete misconceptions. in my opinion: everyone keenly moderate, whether left or right, need to rid of those labels and recognise its us vs them (them being far right+elite). Sure we disagree, and definitions will remain true to the book, but humanity is in order to prevent its destruction..!
And just to further explain. The casual far right (wether they call themselves that or not) are the ones now defending child loving billionaires, promoting racist ideologies, cheering for innocent human lives lost, and they themselves are very vulnerable people influenced (and influencing)by said billionaires to spread their lies with dishonest populism and memetic warfare bro

These things are directly and indirectly in the ideologies themselves AND how its practiced. Not to mention, controversially, Im not even sure a good chunk of the casual right, are right wing in the first place..!
Essentially what im saying is some people see immigration, and despise it (Sure..i wont even bother arguing against that) and automatically label themselves âright wingâ, they hate taxes and love private property and automatically label themselves as R. Libertarian. Even though they agree with social programs, welfare (there are more forms than just dbt) and social equality in the end. These would go directly against R. libertarianism (just for example). Not even to mention the moral math of said ideologies that would apply to them as well. I believe (from personal experience) a lot are actually leftist grasping onto the title of RIGHT because they are holding onto that GANG LIKE tribe that offers familiarity and âbrotherhoodâ because of those one or two dislikes they share
So i think this is just purely factually all wrong, as leftism features private property, goals for less taxes (granted by giving more to the wealthy, but we are not the wealthy) , and even traditional leftism had goals to âlessenâ immigration. and apart from thst, pragmatic policies regarding immigration can be formed under a strict modern leftist eye anyways . Sooo i dont get it. Iâm convinced that the only thing unique to many right wing ideologies are shitting on the poors, the gays and the non whites!
Though one could argue the left has provided much tyranny and violence. I agree, for example: Stalin killed many and communism is leftist! Though im NOT communist, id rebuttal with the fact that these deaths are a result of totalitarianism and militarism and not inherent to communism in itself. Whereas in the far right (and some moderate to mid) ideological space(s), many ideologies in itself promote racism and violence. Example: white supremacy is far right which in turn creates anti-poc rhetoric which in turn creates hate crimes (violence and sometimes death) or it promotes anti-poor rhetoric with anti-welfare and anti-homeless policies! And they just all hate gay&transgender people! LOL
So because of all that I honestly just give it all up, cba anymore, things are going in an unspeakable direction! Since early 2025 it has been non stop! So yes i surrender the left title so the blind rights in my life can hopefully do the same and we can just be logical people, For that reason and my own personal qualms of the left.
Iâm not american or anything either but it is definitely coming from there⌠So ftr i despise both republican and democratic people of power over there for being both complicit in lack of action and JUST AS SHADY!!! But yeah, the American influence has poisoned all corners of the west and beyond in my fair opinion
Anyways. I just dont know how this all will ever be resolved! Maybe im like being pedantic and captious but how we talk, whats becoming normal, what we are forgetting, and what we are believing is a little crazy! and i think it completely has to do with this all! im writing this bc i wonder what other people think.
