George Carlin was right… shouldn’t the phrase be Illegally Drunk!
Also, what the fudge is up with the Simpsons lately… they haven’t been nearly as funny as the standards they set as recently as two or three years ago? SHEESH!
Of course, out of respect to the many, many, hours of entertainment I will continue to watch the simpsons without fail. I mean, where else could we have a discussion about the extra month in the calendar?
“Lousy Smarch weather.”
“Me fail English? That’s Unpossible”
“It would be stupid not to do it.”
“I warned ya! Didna I warn ya! That chalk was forged by the devil”
“let’s just say it moved me… TO A BIGGER HOUSE!!!”
I have always liked family guy wayyy wayy more then the simpsons. If I want to laugh I turn on the Family Guy. Theres no show that has me pissing myself like it. I was upset when it went off air, because I thought it was soo good, I’m glad they are bringing it back.
Of course, Homer is still the greatest character ever:
Marge: I don’t want you stalking anyone tonight.
Homer:
Oh, OK, have it your own way, Marge.
I’ll be back in a minute…
I’m going outside… To… stalk…Lenny and Carl.
D’oh!
I don’t even watch the new Simpsons episodes anymore, but you can’t beat classic lines like:
In the episode where Homer is convincing a sober Barney to fly a helicopter. Barney tells Homer: “I’m a coward, like all recovering alcoholicsâ€
…and another episode where Homer is confronted about his alcoholism and resulting anger and comes to the following absurd conclusion: “You’re right… I’m a rage-a-holic! I’m addicted to rage-a-hol!â€
